Generic leather high top sneaker??

I know this is the diesel forum but all the shoe/sneaker discussions seem to go here so....I'm looking for a generic, plain, leather high top sneaker in both white and black....no markings would be ideal....cheap would be more ideal.....any ideas?

I apologize for the thread jack but, i too am looking for a pair of white leather hi tops. price range up to $400 would be best. same preference as voodoo, simple and clean. thanks!

^at that price point i would go for some ysl nomades without question. or possibly the rolling sneakers. i'd also consider cp's or generic man as well, but i personally think the nomades are insanely sweet.

^ ysl nomade in white is hard as fuck to find. rollings is okay but would rather do without the gold outlined badge on the sides. i think ill just have to go with cp's. thanks jskid! do you have any other recommendations for sleek white hi tops?

@tee: the SWEAR shoes look ok...but not really cheap
@James: the Creative Recreation aren't bad but look a bit feminine
@ Cutup: Double Identity look interesting...I think I'm gonna take a trip down to Soho to check them out in person

I really don't understand why no one makes a CHEAP,sleek, unbranded hi leather shoe..Nike makes a zillion models of shoes for under $100..ya think someone could make a shoe under $100 that fits the bill.

I like these but they don't have my size..could do without the branding tho

those leather chucks fit shittier than normal chucks and the rubber sole on mine have begun detaching after less than 10 wears

wha?..how could they be more simple?...plain, sleek, white shoe devoid of any detail save for a single seam and a small brand badge..the more I look @ them, the more I like them

the Kim Jones on Revolve has a thick padded collar that makes the whole shoe look "clunky"

the white KJ on Shotgun isn't too bad but I'm not in love..don't like the black at all

again, I just don't get it. I can go into Modells (local sporting goods store) and see 50-100 leather shoes for under $100...all with detail and huge branding....ya think someone could make a simple shoe for the same price....paying $300+ (D.Squared ,Balenciaga,YSL,Prada) for a pair of sneakers is obscene. I won't do it.

these would be cool if they didn't have the wide black rubber sole. I like the clean shape $84...but the sole is a deal breaker......almost but not quite

now these are not leather nor simple but for some reason I dig 'em....if only to wear to the gym I'm gettin' em.........$30

ok, i just picked up these energie high tops last week and I love them..basically no branding at all (lame little 'e' i could do without....but whatever). Yes, they are a bit of a ripoff of the ysls and yes made in china and might not be the best quality BUT they are indeed sleek and cool (imo) with a bit of modern styling and basically no horrific logos. They were 30% off last week too, under a hundred US i think..back to original price but I would def. recommend these 100%
