paypal and authenticity

Hi, I am new to this forum so not sure if this has been asked. I put in a claim to paypal re fake TR jeans and they want this

To continue with the investigation of your complaint, we must request
documentation to support your claim that the item is not authentic. Please
obtain a document from an unbiased, third-party, such as a dealer,
appraiser, or organization that is qualified in the area of the item in
question (other than yourself), which clearly identifies the item as not
authentic. The document must specifically state how the item received
differs from an authentic item and must include a detailed explanation of
how the person evaluating the item determined that it is not authentic. If
possible, the document should include a serial number, and must be on
letterhead that includes the name, address, and phone number of the
business or organization so that PayPal may contact them if necessary.

Can anyone help me on where to get this information? The jeans that I bought are so uncomfortable (itchy and scratchy) that I cannot even wear them if the claim is refused!!!

I am so pissed (am I allowed to use that word) that idiots will sell these fakes and then argue that they did nothing wrong.

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.

Actually I think you can use people from this site to back up your claim that the jeans are fake.

pics to prove they are indeed fake...? and if they are truly fake, the mods here can help with the letter

^ no worries, court.. i wasn't replying to your post. i just think savmad should post pics first because "itchy and scratchy" cannot determine authenticity.

sorry about the description which I know does not determine authenticity. But they are definitely not authentic and I am charging up my camera batteries to post some photos. I looked carefully at guides for authenticating and there were about 7 points that did not match. This is what led me to claim in the first place and now I have to prove my claim hence the reason for asking people, like you guys, who know what they are talking about.

I will post pics asap

Thanks for that ange.

Not being a TR Connoisseur, I thought they looked a bit strange and stiff but thought that it must just be that they were a different style to my sons. His are so soft and even at 4 he loves wearing them because they are so comfortable.

Then I tried mine on and nearly hit the roof with how rough they were. I am sure there were little razor blades in the stitching!!!! That's when I looked into whether they were authentic or not. Being the naive thing that I am I didn't think jeans would be faked.

Anyway, I'll know better next time!!!

that's what i thought initially.. but i became confused when i saw those jeans. they have both sexes's labels. well, i'm sure you know all these by now..

Hi there, sorry for my late arrival to this. Yes, those are horrible fakes! Unfortunately, Paypal is longer accepting letters from mods here at HF. My suggestion would be to contact member Treasurehoard. He is a member here and a mod at authenticforum.com . I believe he can write an authenticity letter for you.

Thanks guys. I have contacted Tresureboard so hopefully he can help. Paypal only gives about a week to get proof which is hopeless but anyway, thems the breaks.

ange I had no idea they were girls and boys. As I said, I am a TR novice and they were advertised as womens and only had the one photo but I really thought that only a few kids clothes and sports gear was copied. I know that is really sad, but now I know better and if it has a brand I get proof of authenticity now, no exceptions!!!
