I just recieved these today from JJDenim, I saw this option and I had to snag them fast. They are Zathan 71J 29x32 lab.30a date:16/10/07 I'll post fit pics if you'd like too.

Poor 71J was officially killed two weeks ago when I saw a couple walking together in San Francisco - BOTH wearing a pair of 71J. Oh the humanity!

(Despite that, I'm still holding out for Zatiny 71J. HA!)

ooh i should post my new ones, we could have a 71J off! went to a flagship store and handpicked them from like 6 pairs or so, thats the way to go. those look great though!

Thats a sick 2007 pair...REALLY detailed, but here is a homage to the original...

Here are pics my "legendary" Zathan 71J from the first 2006 batch...these cost me an arm / half a leg back in the day. The beauty of the 2006 batch was the powdery white up and down the legs and the overall lightness of the jeans. They also feature smaller / more holes and the back pockets seemed to always have more depth and look more alive...enjoy:

My 71J is very strange. It has the same amount of distressing as the first pair posted, minus that massize gash. But the contrasting is VERY VERY heavy.

The outside/inside of the leg is a dark blue, and aside from that it is very white. Im not sure I'm quite a fan, but I ordered them online so it's my fault. I will post pics if anyone is interested in seeing.
