I decided to go to the dark side. I'm going to start reselling my super deals. But, that also means I've got to keep my mouth shut with my finds. Oh well, they'll still be good deals and I need spending money for Espana. Bought a pair of (evil) jeans last night for super cheap.
haha callire, "evil jeans."

my jeans didn't sell on ebay. Oh well, i'm not selling them for less than that no mattter what. Still haven't bought anything fashion/beauty related (including the face cleaning stuff). But I did spend $21 on picture frames for my living room.

lets keep going strong ladies

Anyway, I've been really really good lately. I haven't bought anything for myself in ages!

Also: So far, I've gotten everything I applied for! YAY! Which INCLUDES the stupid History Honor thing, which is awesome because two of my super smart (smarter than me) friends didn't get it (and one has a GPA of like 4.4!). So, I'm feeding off the glow.

But, I've got a MASSIVE test today. 5 chapters worth molec. Stupid, stupid.

Congratulations! Good luck with your test today

Thanks! I just took it and it was killer... but I really hope I kill the final.

I splurged on a Gucci tote on the weekend but sold some stuff last week
post #410 of 495
Oh I see so you are selling to replace tut tut!!
I've been awesome. The only thing I bought was a black blouse for my grandma's funeral which was an absolutely necessary buy. I also bought 2 bottles of 1 litre Grey Goose for $60. The 750mL bottles in Canada go for $43! And in any case, my dad gave me spending money while we were in San Francisco so even the Grey Goose was technically not paid by me.

I've been goooooooooooooooood!

I confess I tried on jeans in the "sell" pile and they have now been put back into the "keep" pile.

Fail.

Aw... Annie, no! You're doing so well. Don't try on jeans! It's so hard but don't do it! Makes it 10x easier to sell.

I've been good! I sold some jeans and my t-bags shirt and I'm working on putting more stuff up.

ONLY ONE MORE WEEK+ 3 days of school! Ah! So happy. 'Cept I've got exams, so... not so happy.

Check Check. Over 7 months without new jeans (though the R&R Sample sale, I will break that ban for that day)

Other than that, I had to buy a bunch of stuff since I moved out to Downtown Seattle and needed furniture (got Crate & Barrel Bed from craiglist, matching nightstand from Crate and Barrel, Crate and Barrel "leaning" bookshelf and a "leaning" desk, C&B rug, wusthof 4-piece set knife, zojirushi rice cooker) and 2 BCBG dress shirt for work, and a bus pass.

Those are necessities so you are OK
I know, I know. I'm going to come to my senses!

I confess in the last week I've bought tickets to the symphony and ballet. And no, I didn't splurge on $200 tickets. Thank god for all the youth programs as I only paid $12 and $20 for each ticket!

I'm glad everyone is being so reasonable with their ban breaks! Well except court and those who are going to the RR sample sell...bad!!!

i broke ban for a bikini. It was $37 and just like the one I've been dieing for from Victoria's Secret. I don't feel too badly about it because I need new bikini's for my vacation away later this summer. I'm not destroying any more expensive ones in the pools!!!

Besides that I've been super good, putting tons of money towards my loans and visa

OMG and also good news...... I think that my tuition for my spring course has been paid already (about $1100 off of my 'to pay' list). I got a check about 2 months ago for extra money from my loans (the school takes their cut and gives me the rest) and I am pretty sure that my semester was paid before I got that check! Either that or there is an error in my student centre thing. YAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought 2 pairs to resell, but it's scary because I spent $$ on them... so I really hope they sell! But... Hopefully my profit margin is big enough... if not, I'll just stare at the pretty Nakita!

I got a pair discounted tickets to Phantom of the Opera (visiting Seattle in Sept/Oct).

Reserved seats for my firm, and the tickets were at a discounted price... how could I refuse.

I should start looking for a date, since knowing me, I'll procrastinate and end up giving these tickets away at the last minute.

I cannot divulge my last two day's amount of expenses. Holt's, H&M, liquor, and taxis give me a run for my money.

Need. to. stop.

Tommy- Phantom of the Opera sounds so cool, I'm sure you'll find a date

Someone PLEASE convince me that I don't need a Tahitian pearl pendant. I have a gorgeous freshwater pendant in gold that I LOVE, and I was thinking about getting a silver one... It's sad though, since I've been packing like crazy, whenever I find one of my favorite pieces, I just put it on. I think I'm up to like five pieces of jewelry because I can't stand the thought of loosing them.

OOH: Good news!! So, my grandparents usually offer to either give me a laundry service for a year or the $600 that it costs, so I think I'll just take the cash again and put it towards my vacation spending $$. I'm hoping to earn another $3-400 so that all I'm spending on vacation is "extra" money and not my normal savings money. (I have/had like $1200 in my savings, so now I won't go home completely broke)

edit: Oh, and I decided that if I get a B in my science course (soooooooo hard! I have an 83 going into the final) I'm going to buy myself a serotonin necklace as a reward for sticking it out and studying these past few weeks. I love it because I always tell people during finals/stress "You should cry, crying releases serotonin, which makes you happy!" I'm a nerd like that.

Ohh trust me, that show is MORE THAN WORTHY for a Ban Break, especially you got discounted pricing on the tix.

I saw it once, and gave a pair of tix to my parents... but i sooooooo wanted to go see it again and again and again!!! so sad the show is long gone from Toronto =(
post #425 of 495
hahah callire your cute. I always agree with positve rewards for studying, a necklace would be a nice reminder of your accomplishments!

I TOTALLY broke my ban this evening. I bought a bag that I was suppose to buy in July. Here is my rationale. Holt's has none, and can't get any. I could call the coach in edmonton (or go there) but I doubt they'll have it. I found it on ebay, retail + shipping but it's way cheaper than retail +shipping on coach.com. I couldn't let it get away.

so....I called my parents and asked for my grad money early. I'll pay it off asap, and keep on track with my spending free until the 20th when I buy my bf's grad gift

Oh and Anne!!! BAD BAD!!! The holt sale was pretty good here in Calgary though...I'm glad I was so good. I want sfam super flares so badly!
