Sorry to derail the thread, but I'm still in rant and pissed mode. I'm pretty sure he was cheating on me, emotionally. Some might not consider that cheating, but I certainly do.

I'm going to sell every single gift he has ever given to me and the proceeds will go to Cheaters Anonymous or maybe a women's shelter. I felt at many times I was in an abusive relationship, minus the physical violence.

I can even still return the Tiffany's he gave me for my birthday. He didn't cash his cheque and went in with an empty wallet. I paid for the gifts on Amex and he paid me back in cash a few days later. (LAME!) I think I may get the money back and buy myself a right hand ring engraved with "don't settle". It would be a literal token to remind myself what misery I let myself go through. As much as I love those gifts, they just have to go.

Evelynmp I just read your other thread, if you have 80 pairs of jeans you need to ban honey, thats a lot of jeans.....

I'm going to jump off this bandwagon soon for some chromas, if I win them anyways but until then I'm still banned.

Okay... so... I bought some BKK a pockets :hangs head in shame: and... I'm buying a new ipod soon.

BUT! I parted with my NYD sigs (my first pair EVER) AND I'm selling my new pearl necklace :cries: Why can't I be older? I look a bit silly with 8-9mm

I splurged like mad in the last two days: 2 Jessica Kagan Cushman bracelets, 5 Hanky Pankys, a Tiffany's bracelet, a new Lulu hoodie, and a new pair of Christian Louboutin lookalike pumps. Click here for the damage.

But you know what I feel better already! All his freaking presents I'm going to sell and the proceeds can go to Cheaters Anonymous or some women's shelter. I am also going to try to list at least 1K by tonight.

I'm just going to pretend I didn't see that. I hate to say this though.. but Annie.. you kind of make me feel better knowing that I wasn't the only one to lend out money to an emotionally abusive ex. =/ If it wasn't for him.. I wouldn't have to be on this ban. But instead I was stupid enough to give in and lend him the money, 6 g's that I'll probably never see back in my pockets. Ugh.. I think I've finally learnt that relationship and money matters don't mix well. One expensive lesson.

I'm glad you're out of the relationship. You can do so much better than him.

Anyways.. back on topic. I still haven't bought anything but I'm eyeing some jeans on ebay. They're my most wanted.. but two 1/2 sizes bigger than what I need. Think I can alter them? (I'm crazy enough to try...)

Aw Annie I'm sorry hun but CONGRATS!! I bet it felt good to finally get into lululemon makes me feel good anyways.

So I haven't bought myself jack shit in the past week. Just body wash and conditioner but those things are actually necessary! I'm sooooo goood.

I've totally put off the idea of shopping now that I'm trying to save for a grad gift for my bf He's so speical I really want to get him something nice!

Progress report: I didn't quite list 1K tonight.. That was a little too ambitious... But I did manage to list a few things and payments are coming in already. Yay! My goal for tonight is to list 10 items.

Little by little, we can all get through our bans and wipe out debts away.

I kinda broke my ban...not technically...I said I wouldn't buy any shoes online and I was at the mall when I bought three pairs of flats....but it was only about $63 because I had a $28 giftcard

I'm so happy! My giftcard sold on ebay overnight! I'm really surprised, I didn't expect to get that much for it ($110 for $125).

Now I can't decide which iPod to buy. Annie offered me a great deal on a normal one, but I really like the iPod touch (mad expensive, but I've sold a TON). Hm... Decisions decisions.

Hm.. I'm having some trouble with my echecks... I think I'll hold on the ipod... I don't think I can comfortably spend that much $$ at the moment I also found THE COOLEST perfume website... The owners are complete nutjobs, but I've heard good things about their perfume and it all looks really interesting. I ordered a sample for $2.

so i JUST got caught up on everything in this thread, and i am SO proud of you, annie!!! it takes a lot of courage to let go of a relationship, even when you consciously know it's bad for you and all i have to say is that you ROCK!!! especially with your goal of donating the money that loser's stuff brings in to charity. badass AND has a heart? that guy seriously screwed up!

i caught a pair of opium jaggers last friday for $40 shipped and went for them, but they turned out to be fake. SIGH oh karma, you are so cruel...
