so how are we suppose to list them under ebay without it getting Veroed?

Hi there

I am so sorry for you. But the same thing happened to me. When this whole VERO thing started a few months ago, I only got VERO'd for TR and was safe somehow with SFAM. But I listed a whole lot of jeans last week - and got VERO'd. And some past listings - which were already complete so I just got back the listing fees. ( which was fine by me)

I am in the process of dealing with SFAM to sort it out, but I doubt anything will happen. I guess I will just have to change the brand I sale.

At the moment I am selling so many Winter items that it suits me fine..

Hope everyone else who got VERO'd sorts things out.

This VeRO program has complete control over everything. EBay canceled my account without even looking everything over just because I got VeRoed and My stuff is authentic. It is becoming too big of a corporation to control everything, and they are placing control of certain things in the companies themselves, which is where VeRo comes in. Many brands joined this program which covers their trademarks and rights, but we have nothing to cover us as individual sellers. If this was taken to court (which is what I may have to do) People have the right to sell what they own, as long as it what it says it is.

It would be good if it were efficient., but it is pulling sellers that are reputable.

Yeah, i think thats good advice. I got Veroed on Sevens - I had tag pics, said 100% authentic, I'm honestforum member, etc. so I started selling on another account (not in my name) and I don't put tag pics or say anything about them being authentic and so far nothing has been Veroed. There are still TONS of blatently fake Sevens on ebay, and i think if they were so concerned about fakes there would definately not be the amount there is. I think they are more worried about auth sellers cheapening the name by selling them for way under retail.

This has been my suspicion all along. Sellers of fakes are selling a "different product," not really a competitive one. And if you sell me real Sevens for only $60 or $70, why am I going to want to pay $150 or more at the store? The stores get upset, and so do the jeans companies--they perceive you as a true threat to their dollars. So they are eliminating you, the seller of authentics, who can undersell them. (Of course, I do not mean you personally, jetta, but anyone who sells relatively inexpensive authentics.)

When I first saw Idalis' VeRo disclaimer, it blew my mind! If I were VeRo, I would skip her and look for an easier target, since from her disclaimer, it looks like she might be more trouble than she's worth.

VeRo is preying on the fact that many people either do not know their rights, or aren't going to bother to defend them.
