That's why you need to broaden your perspective; Zathan is not the first and last word for Diesel.

oh i know, but I feel that zathan is the only style that fits my body type. don't mean to offend all those that like thanaz, safado, etc.

No offense taken, as it is your loss for not branching out.

Zathans are cool and all (I guess) but right now it's basically "My first Diesels." Trust me, if you stay here long enough you'll move away from your 'starter Diesels' and towards some other cuts. It's not like Zathan is the only cut for athletic guys, and I actually don't even think of it as especially flattering to them either.

a good 90% of the people here who say that zathan is the only cut that suits their body could not be more wrong. bootcuts seem easy to pull off, but i find they are the hardest cut to make work by far. very few body types are actually flattered by bootcut jeans. unless you are tall or have very long legs bootcut will only make your legs look short, stumpy, and stocky. and unless you have narrow hips they will also make you look very curvy, which results in either a feminine or husky look. neither of which is good. i'd like to see a pic of you in zathan to really believe that they fit your body as well as you say. i'd guess they just fit your comfort zone more than anything.

and you got to be quite muscular still because I've narrow hips+quite long legs (even though in proportions they aren't that long,well I'm still a L33) BUT thin thighs and bootcuts look ridiculous

so narrow hips
muscular but slim thighs
tall

=ok for bootcuts.Well I have seen about 2 correct zathan fits IRL,and both guys had those 3 conditions.But they wore them with chucks or vans era,I dont even know how it would have been with boots or dressier shoes

ryanduke, I think that quoted pic (whoever it is) looks good... at least from the front.

IMO There is no universally ideal or perfect fit for anything. What our eyes perceive to be proper and correct fit will differ for each person on each person and may be so for a variety of reasons.

Some people prefer a TIGHT Zathan fit, some prefer a slightly looser Zathan fit, it's about what the wearer finds to be comfortable for him and what people perceive to be attractive ON him. There's also the idea of 'intended' fit and the modification of fit by getting a smaller or larger size to achieve the look that you want or what you deem to be acceptable to you and your environment, culture, society in which you live.

There are some people who I think could go up a size and it would look better and others who I think could go down a size and it would look better, but that is my perception and doesn't make it 'right' no matter how right I may feel I am in my notion.

Indeed some cuts suit certain body types better and some are counterproductive.

^yeah, krod can wear zathans. i don't know who is in that pic ryan posted, but its just OK. i think the rest of the outfit (shirt covering the entire upper block) and the poor lighting might be taking away from the jeans though.
