Any advice which size of jake to get ?
Tks.

that's really strange. sizing depends on the release of wash. it varies a lot... you can be size 28 or even 31. i'm sure you can find more info in this thread.

Well given that the prices of the older seasons are just ridiculous (like 900€...most pairs I saw were and still are on selvedgeforum.com) I guess he is planning on getting the new release of the jake.

I can't imagine him putting such amount of money for an older what as he just getting into diors.

They have 2% elastane so you can stay your size to have a skinny fit or go up 1 size to get a more relaxed fit like hte guy a few pages ago (or in the what dior are you wearing today thread).

I always kept the same size for my diors and didn't have much problems.

Hi guys, i need some help with my first pair of dior. im an actual 28 but i wear a size 27 for nudie TF Dry Ecru and size 25 for TLJ to get the skinny skin tight fit. The TLJ is more stretchy than the TFs thats why i sized down more. i am planning to get a dior nostalgy raw 19cm. What size should i get? Luisviaroma states that its 100% cotton, is this true? i am considering getting the size 26 or 27 to get the same fit im getting with my current nudies. Anyone with this same build who could help me out it'd be much appreciated, thank you!

Anyone got a fit pic of these? I bought Jake stretch in like 2012 but they don't look as nice as these imo... can't tell if its a new wash or not because I don't remember what the pic looked like on the site when I bought mine.

Hey,

I am looking for a pair of "black raven" or "raven black" I don't remember... Fit 19 size 27 / 28

If you see pair for sale somewhere, I'd appreciate if you let me know ;)

Dior Jeans are Vanity sized by 2 inches. This means the actual waist size on a tagged 28" is really 30" (depends on the desired fit you want for what size you should get. If you are really skinny, (eg; real waist size below 30") you should always buy 2" smaller than your waist size. They will be tight at first, so allow a couple of wears before they are comfortable. Don't forget they are also known for stretching about 1" on the waist after extended wear (couple weeks) so your tagged 28" will stretch out to an actual waist of 31". This rule applies to Cotton and Raw dior's. Raws tend to stretch more than the washes, due to the nature of the raw denim.

Washed diors which have Stretch cotton material (elastane) can easily be worn an extra inch too small since they stretch, but bare in mind they are thinner in the leg so you might get a jeggings look if you go down more than one size (I still go for the same size in stretch or none, and just allow the extra room once they stretch out). This rule applies especially to the 17.5 cut. You will look like you are wearing your sisters jeans if you take a 28" or lower in 17.5 no matter what build you are.

I personally don't like wearing the jeans for long periods of time without washing them, so have little experience with raws past a singular pear of MIJ 19cm that I rarely wear. Hope this helps with your sizing issues.

Disclaimer : Since everyone seems to get butthurt (no pun intended) and have differing opinions on what sizes you should buy, I'd like to point out that I've owned about 20 pairs of Dior and sized down by 2" from my Real Waist Size on every pair. All of them fit how I wanted.

But that's because you're a dwarf.

Hey guys

I am selling a lot of my collection of Dior Homme. Most are from the Hedi Slimane era - all size 28-29". I need a 30' waist these days, so a lot of my older pairs are going.

Pics here http://www.denimblog.com/c/g/i/84558/nitodiors-jpg/sort/display_order/

All pairs are in at least 9/10 condition with great care taken to wash. If you are interested in any pairs please message me.

Note- I do not have an eBay account or PayPal. Sale will only be able to go through direct bank transfer, so if you are unable to do this I can't sell them to you. They are being sold elsewhere (superfuture) so if you want them be quick!

Dust wash 2006  19cm  - 28"  =  £300
Grey Mist 17.5cm - 29" = £120
Griffith park - 29" = £200
Black MIJ Raws - 28" (worn only a few times) = £150
Carbon Copy - 28" (worn only a few times) = £220
Under My Car 2008 17.5cm - 28" = £250

Update : UMC , dust sold

yes MIJ!!!

Yoox has sometimes good deals, and in sixes like 29,30 and 31.

DH has become stupidly expensive so you have to try to find good deals on web.

Hi all, I have just gotten myself a pair of MIJ 19cm Raw and a pair of MIJ 17.5 MIJ Leaden Sky.

Took a long time for me to decide on the size to purchase as I have really thick thighs from years of sprinting competitively.

Special thanks to Jeanetic for taking the time to help me with my questions via email.

Let me know what you guys think of the fit.
