OFFICIAL: Dior Homme Denim Thread - Page 233

Thank you BsGg; I will try to sell on this forum on the section buy/sell.

I don´t like ebay, I think it is not serious; and people tend to find fake clothes.

I regret to buy this size, because It was one of the first dior jeans I bought;and when I chose the size I look how wear them David Beckham and other people on pics on internet; so I chose wrong size.

i dont get what you question is ?

identify ? but you said yourself jake 17.5. Do you want to know what season/year maybe ?

unless you mean authenticate ? there is a dedicated thread for that though

Just got my 19cm Bleu Fonce DH's.

19cm cut definitely isn't for me. The jeans are great, but too baggy/loose, especially from the knee down. On others it looks fine, but not on my build/frame.

Going to take them to a good tailor to get them tapered, but I need to find the right one in my area (seattle).

Do you have any pics?  Make sure you find the best tailor for them!  Tailors tend not to "get" jeans...especially Dior Homme.

I have a shoddy quality pic from my phone.

I found a well rated tailor and had them match the leg measurements of my 17.5cm Jakes which it perfect (thanks Jeanetic!)

Hopefully they'll do a good job.

Hi guys, I'm new here and would like to ask your advice on DH jeans. I am looking to get my first MIJ raw pair, and don't really know which size to get.

For reference's sake, I wear a size 32 for both raw and washed Thin Finn Nudie jeans. My true waist is about 30-31, but I had to upsize the Nudie jeans because I hit the gym a lot, and my thighs aren't exactly slim (which is ironic considering I used to be very skinny with waist size around 28).

So for the DH MIJ raws, should I get a size 32 for the 19cm? Or a 31?

And if I am looking to get 17.5cm DH, can I still go with size 32 as well?

Thanks in advance, and any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the help, qwerk.

I had no idea my jeans were jakes. As you can see, I know very little about DH...

I saw jeanetics pictures on the other thread, though, and the wash looks pretty different from the picture on LVR, which is disappointing.

Has anyone purchased the Jakes Washed on there right now? These: http://www.luisaviaroma.com/index.aspx?#getData.aspx|CallType=Product&prodId=06V38&des=4HH&cat=&gender=men&group=&vendorColor=NTQw&season=actual&seasProdID=54I

Any pictures of how they are, in comparison to the pictures on LVR?

It would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I'm not exactly sure how DH's size compared to Thinn Finn Nudie jeans.  My gut says 32 19cm would be perfect for you.  I have both the 19cm and 17.5cm raws, and I can tell you the waist size is the same so you'd do the same size.  The tapering, of course, is going to be more extreme with the 17.5 so they will look like skinny jeans while the 19cms look like slim jeans.  The 17.5s also have a slightly lower rear rise, and mine are about .5 cms tighter in the thigh, which may be bad for you, but I think it's because my 19cms have had 6x as long to stretch!

hey guys, i believe this is my 1st post on the forums.  long time fan of DH just a quick (and probably stupid) question.  i have an original pair of darkclouds that dont fit me as well as they used too.  ive been lifting for about 2 years now and have made some considerable gains in size.  i wanted to know if aside from just wearing them, is there anyway to stretch out the thigh area?  seeing as they are not selvedge im assuming i couldnt take them to a tailor to have some room released.  any suggestions?  maybe dampen them and then wear?

stop being disrespectful. u whine too much.

as for the jeans question, i honestly have no clue so ur best best would be call a very good tailoring place and ask them those questions.

asn17, sorry mate. i think except for reissues like Jake, and blah blah blah. there's no new washes coming by now. and most importantly, there's no "epic" washes in 12AW.

i don't hate KVA but he kindda screwed up the jeans line. ink me was the only wash to compete with washes made by Hedi. Hedi created epic washed every season. 03 black clawmark, 04 bleu clair waxed and waxed destroyed, 05 orange overdye and blue clawmark, 06 dust, 07 jake and UMC. i think it would be hard to ignore these epic pieces of work.

no hateicon_biggrin.gif just really worried about the jeans line of dior.

NHL: if you call wanting to see people in new washes disrespectful and whining, okay man...

Marcus: I agree there are some epic washes, but they've all been covered extensively on this forum and other forums. There's some new washes that are pretty interesting, but one of the Dior SA's told me they're moving towards cleaner and more basic washes. I thought life brush and fog light were pretty cool, and  I'd love to see some fit pics of punk academy if anyone was daring enough to get them.
