If you right click and open the image in a new tab you can see them larger. I can't get better pics just yet as I am going on vacation tomorrow.
Here is another pic - I took this yesterday so that anyone asking questions about how colors look (I feel your pain waiting to drop $600+ on jeans without knowing the true color of them, etc)
Hey those are nice. When you get back get some pics wearing them

what does the tags inside even say about composition ?
about what i think
well first you should take a picture wearing it like you would (but keeping the tags on of course), to make sure that it looks good with your usual style, sometimes taking a picture helps see what is working or not.
then i guess there are 2 questions to ask :
- was/is having calf-skin on part of the bag essential to you liking the bag, i mean its a question of feeling i guess, myself i know i like when there is some leather on my bag cause i feel its a material i want there, gives it a little twist; but i know a 100% canvas bag can be cool and look good too, its just i have a slight preference for leather.
- if in the end you feel that having 50% of the bag calf-skin is not essential, and that you do like this bag anyway, its design, its look, what you feel when you have it on your side, and would eventually keep it, then it becomes only a matter of price : was what you paid a "fair/acceptable" price for what you got and the use you will make of it.
I like the bag and took the tags off. I want to keep it. I know that having half leather was important to me but like you said, it still can be good without.
has anyone heard of a wash in dior called 'salt washed'?
Hi, I'm new to the forum
and need help from you guys
I've never owned a pair of DH, but I've been meaning to get a pair of 17.5 mij. All the skinny jeans I have measure 15" at waist (flat). I don't need a belt for my jeans but they aren't tight at waist either. What tagged size would you suggest I get for DH 17.5? From what I've gathered by reading all the posts it will be either 27 or 28? Also, I'm 5'9, so will the stacking be too ridiculous if I don't have the jeans hemmed?
Final question, from LVR I can't seem to find raw 17.5 mij. Where can I find them?
Thanks in advance!

I'd lean to 28 in the 17.5 cm cut, because it could be tight in other areas too (e.g., calves). jeanetic should know well; he's the resident expert.
Don't hem, especially at 5'9". It'll be perfect.
Raw 17.5cms aren't out yet. The raws are probably all 19cm still. I'm starting to wonder if these 17.5s will be coming out (raw).
Thanks for your reply sirgrotius! I went to saks to try on some 19 mij bleu fonce (I think they were) sz 28 today, and they weren't tight anywhere but waist, though I could still close the clasp. And then I tried on a pair of 17.5 super slender sz 29, and they were very tight around my thighs but loose at waist. So I was wondering if it was because of the super slender cut, or because of the difference between 19 and 17.5 (I had thought 19 and 17.5 were the same from knee up).
If for mij raws I should get the 28, what size should I get for jakes? My calves actually make me look anorexic, so I'm more concerned with my thighs, especially after trying on the super slenders and not having the chance to try on 17.5 of other style. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated :)!

For Raws go with what is tight at first and it will loosen. For Jake get the size 28 or 29 depending on which season and cut(if too old then you may need a 30).
Thanks! By cut do you mean 17.5, 19 and 21? I was thinking of pre-ordering 17.5 from 2012aw from LVR, so I guess I should wait until someone posts the sizing from this season?

yeah or you could email LVR and ask them once the jeans get to the stores
First post. Proud owner of Black Raw 19cm and a well worn pair of Brut 19cm (both MIJ).
My contribution (will be 2 years old in August):
I was browsing around, and found a pair that caught my eye (see below), however, I could not determine what wash they were. Can any one chime in? Thanks in advance!

I thought it's Soulmate or Find again, but it isn't... :-/
Thanks for the advice! I just got 17.5 mij raws from the NYC Dior homme store (moved to soho) in size 28 and yes the store just got them today! They said they had pretty limited stock. So heads up people!

17,5cm raws? please post ref. number...
480 before tax... crazy huh...

I didnt realize how much more expensive they were than 19cm, but the SA was more excited than I was about having raws in 17.5 for the first time. I tried on the jakes too but the SA recommended the raws because they had quite a bit of stock of jakes but quite little of raws. At least I know my size in this seaso's jakes is also sz 28 :)!

I would like to see pics. What size did you pick up in raws?
You mean from AW 12? I have some from SS12 and they arent that great. Where are pics of what youre referring to?
I got 28. If I go down a size I can't button all the buttons. I hope they don't stretch too too too much?
If you will excuse iphone quality and my terrible photographic skills:
Flash was on for this one. Sorry.
Realising the deficiency of iPhone as a camera, I can take pictures of specific details you want to see (or the whole thing, but be prepared for a blurry pic ...)
I think I might go for a pair of those instead of claws or mulholland drives. What do you guys think?
Thinking of pre-ordering the Fall/Winter 17.5CM Jake UMC Washed, MIJ. I wear 28x32 in every Diesel I own (Thanaz, Thavar, Thepphar, Krooley) and they fit perfectly. What would be an equivalent size in DH? I don't quite understand the sizing from the OP. Would it be size 30 in DH? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
