It's UMC 09', it's dark blue and white paint spots but defintely hemmed...there are no paint spots left on the lower legs and the guy says "altered only a few centimeters"....I would say pass on them unless you want them badly. I admit those are more rare as time goes by but it's not a reason to jump on the first pair you see, even more when they have been altered like that.

I guess you can reproduce the paint spots yourself, it's not that hard.

I was able to reproduce the dirt on the thighs of my "As Good As New" after I washed them....so throwing some paint spots on the jeans shouldn't be too hard hehehe ;)

hey warning for everybody, i sold a silver selvedge size 31 brand new to Ravenz

i forgot to send him the tracking number, so he did a chargeback on his credit card, i guess im now fucked of 425€

i have a friend working at customs, i already called him, ill see if he can get my package but i guess it will be close to imposible so im totaly fucked

so be careful, i have never dealt with someone like this, i have a very demanding job so i always forget to send the tracking numbers, nobody EVER took actions that fast and that drastic, its unbeleivable

I do find it funny that it took this to get your response, since you have a "demanding job" and all

Ravenz how many times did you email him asking for tracking? How long did you wait before doing a chargeback? If you really did a chargeback saying you did not receive the item and you end up receiving it you need to pay the money. Otherwise he can call your card company and they will prosecute you for fraudelantly doing a chargeback. All he will have to show is the tracking showing delivered.

Please be honest if you buy and sell on this forum. I will help someone who gets scammed every step to ensure justice is served. I hate scammers and I have no problem helping someone with the process of pressing charges on them.

i think i have some references in this forum, i did some transactions

if i remember correctly i sold some as god as new to saddock i think

i also did some transactions on superfuture (im "cubzor" there)

i have NEVER seen someone doing a chargeback TWO days after the date i sent the jeans just because i didnt send the tracking number, never!!!!!!!!!

ok but dude i called my friends at customs, unfortunatly he can't do anything but he may know people who can, he will do his best to catch my package

there is no way i let go 425€ in the air without garantee of having the money

because you say that paypal will release the payement untill i prove i sent the jeans, that is not true, you did a chargeback so even if i send the tracking number to paypal they will not be able to release the 425€, you will need to do a totally new payment

when i have news from my friend i will tell you and we will see what we do

when i receive an email from someone asking for a tracking number and i don't have right here, i just think "ok i will do it when i get home" if when i get home i fell asleep, ok maybe i should have thought first about sending it

when i receive a mail from paypal saying someone did a chargeback of 425€, this become one of my first priority

as simple as that

apart from the fact that i don't even receive mail notification when i have a new PM...

You should be protected by paypal you should contact them. In any event what country is the buyer in? If he does not pay you I will do what I can to help you if he is in my country. You need to contact paypal and let them know whats going on. You need to let them know so they can help you contact his credit card company. If he scams you then you will be able to screw him big time by contacting paypal to press the issue with CC company.

Guys it sounds to me like you are both sincere and did things in good faith, fromfrance did communication mistakes and Ravenz may have over-reacted a little, but its all understandable on both sides money and a fine pair of jeans being at play. You can work something out. 

FromFrance you should give tracking info but Ravenz you can't expect to pay only once you received it, its not how it usually works. Now i guess the problem is that you're both in distrust so its kind of a deadlock. Maybe the 3rd- party solution through jeanetic is a good idea after all ? 

Hope you can work something out and be both happy with the result. 

Guys, i need help from you about sizing, i wear a washed 19cm mii sz32 which fits ok, im looking into maybe buying a black raw (that one : http://i45.tinypic.com/2rekryu.jpg), and im still confused about sizing, should i size up or down or get sz32 ? thanks

I sized down personally maybe it would work for you to. IDK for sure though you may be different than I was/

I have no problem helping out but first I think tracking info needs to be produced before any of that takes place to make sure its been shipped.

Yes look at my "what dior are you wearing today" pics from this evening and you can see the holes. I wore them today.

About your KVA bag, it looks good though, but yeah its weird, the white part should be calf-skin dipped in white paint and not something else, let us know what LVR says. Fortunately you kept their tags on, i see :)

Yeah thanks thats what i ended up doing lol, and your selling thread was in google too haha. Yeah i was asking the question at first because it seemed weird to me that this part would be ripped open. Not sure if i will buy or not, will have to make repair if so. Sizing looks good for me though thanks to the measurements indicated in your thread :) as i would buy the same size.

they said they were going by the manufacterers description and offered full refund. I dont know what Im going to do. What do you all think?

If you right click and open the image in a new tab you can see them larger. I can't get better pics just yet as I am going on vacation tomorrow.

Here is another pic - I took this yesterday so that anyone asking questions about how colors look (I feel your pain waiting to drop $600+ on jeans without knowing the true color of them, etc)

what does the tags inside even say about composition ? 

about what i think

well first you should take a picture wearing it like you would (but keeping the tags on of course), to make sure that it looks good with your usual style, sometimes taking a picture helps see what is working or not. 

then i guess there are 2 questions to ask : 

- was/is having calf-skin on part of the bag essential to you liking the bag, i mean its a question of feeling i guess, myself i know i like when there is some leather on my bag cause i feel its a material i want there, gives it a little twist; but i know a 100% canvas bag can be cool and look good too, its just i have a slight preference for leather. 

- if in the end you feel that having 50% of the bag calf-skin is not essential, and that you do like this bag anyway, its design, its look, what you feel when you have it on your side, and would eventually keep it, then it becomes only a matter of price : was what you paid a "fair/acceptable" price for what you got and the use you will make of it.
