Do any of you guys happen to know how the prices for DH jeans range in store? Like in Vegas or NY, as opposed to LVR/online.

 

I'm hoping they'll be less expensive by comparison, as LVR includes shipping and whatnot into the price.

On LVR work a day is $742 and at DH store it's 810

LVR 17.5 James are $652 while the DH store has them at 610.

the place where i am, work a day is selling for singapore dollars 1050 which is 875 usd base on exchange rate.

 

lvr it's retailing for 500 singapore dollars which is 416 usd

Relatively more expensive in store within the United States vs LVR. Yeah singapore is ridiculously expensive.

 

Let me make some comparison, they're in US$

In Store after 10% tax(US): Clawmarks $670, Life Brush $890, work a day $890, Jake 17.5cm $670, Indigo Raw $540, black full leather $4850

LVR: Clawmarks $711, Life Brush $742, work a day $742, Jake 17.5cm $652, Indigo Raw $472, black full leather $4088

 

You just gotta be smart buying the jeans, if you like the jeans go try it on at the boutique for the right size and fitting and also check the price. This way you know what size and where it sells cheaper.

wow seems like pricing in the USA is pretty steep. some pieces more expensive than singapore.

 

lvr is the cheapest but subjected to stock availability too =)

 

Wow...Do you think you could proxy a pair to me? All you have to do is invoice me through paypal and then order off LVR with the money I pay you with. Then, with money I pay you, ship it to me here in the USA.  Plus I could give you a little money for your troubles. 

The good thig is, if you dont live in either NY, NV, or CA you dont have to pay the 10% tax on those items from the DH store. I live in the south where there is no DH store so when I order from the stores here in the USA I pay 810 instead of 890. Or I pay 610 instead of 670, etc.

I have a pair of mij raw size 29.

 

I wanna buy jakes 17cm, can somebody tell me what size should i pick?

depending on the season but either a 30 or 31 would be safe

The only Jakes that you should buy in size 29 (if you are a 29 MIJ raw) is the AW11 Jakes from LuisaViaRoma.com -- They ran really large. My Jakes 17.5 are from ss12. They are a size 30 and my MIJ raws are a 28. I could probably fit a 29 in these but def not a 28. The first page sizing guide is not completely accurate. MII washes have lower REAR rises than MIJ jeans do. This means they will generally feel tighter on the upper block compared to MIJ in the same size. To put it in perspective. All of my MIJ Diors are size 29. My MII washes are evenly split between 29 and 30. But to be honest, its not that the sizing guide is completely false. With Dior Homme, different washes will run different (size wise) from wash to wash and even one wash will run different from season to season. It is really annoying actually because you can never nail down your exact size. 

Speaking of Jakes...I got my 19cm size 29 Jakes in today.........and.......BIG disappointment. They are, IMO, not near as brown as the other 19cm I owned. Also, they fit almost EXACTLY like my size 28 19cm Jakes! The only difference is a slightly bigger hem. The waist is the same and so is the rear rise, which as you all know, is the nemesis to well fitting jeans. Here are fit pics. They fit well everywhere except my rear: I also have pics to compare with my 17.5 Jakes I own now. They are about the same color which sucks because I was wanting the browner version I had before.

Marcus, my clawmarks dont have a ref number in them. I guess they were one of those years that didnt have a tag in it with that. It only has this tag with a blue tab on it:

My ref code (on the silver tag) of claws are: PI3110530213, but 10fws are: PI31J0530213. WTF!!! Mine came from LVR. And I can't find anything bout my ref code. What happened!!!!!

I don't think those 19 cm's look bad at all, in fact I think they look better than the 17.5's by comparison (though both look great). But I understand what you mean about the color and wanting a pair with more brown.

If I were your size I'd buy them off you! Haha

yeah the thighs fit better imo but i hate having to pull them down so low to wear them

they usually do send them out in batches. It is really annoying, Desmond, what size do you normally wear in your other Diors? Which washes do you have and what sizes in those washes?
