finally i got size 29 dior 19cm from singapore!! bit expensive but i cant wait any longer!!

yeah, mine came from LVR with a black box with "LUIS VIA ROMA". that must be something authentic :P

but the semi-waxed blue clawmarks i'm gonna try on next week is not that surely authentic so i'll have to be careful. if they don't fit me well or not in good condition, i may just order another blue clawmarks from LVR since there are no chance to buy mint blue clawmarks here with a good price :(

If its the one ive seen pics of then they are real. you need to ensure you get measurements for waist, thigh, rise, rear rise, knee to ensure that you know the jean will fit you properly/

the seller of them is so kind that he will bring them to me for trying them on. i think that's gonna be the best way to ensure whether i can pull them off or not, right?

Question for the Dior experts, do you notice any differences between the DH jeans made in the Hedi Slimane-era versus the newer ones under Kris van Assche?

these are what i just got earlier today. 05S/S waxed blue clawmarks by HEDI SLIMANE

this is the true color under sunlight.

in compaison with my original 12S/S blue clawmarks (unwaxed)

now, fit pics time

they maybe run 1 size bigger so i wear them like 28, but they are actually 27.

I do.  You see those pics Marcus shared?  You look at those and you think, "wow."  That happened a lot with Hedi jeans, while KVA jeans look really nice and let's admit we're all a little happy about the DH luster, too.

Let's see what Hedi does at YSL.  I imagine it'll be great, but I wonder if YSL can produce the same top-notch quality we expect from Dior.

Hi, first post on here. Wanted to know if there was more than one wash on the jakes, as i see jeanetic post a picture of a pair that looked lighter (which looked very nice by the way) they were similar to these no?

different seasons have looked different. Earlier Jakes seem to be bluer whereas the newer Jakes have a browner tint to them. I think both the links you posted are the same pair under different lighting.

My black clawmarks got looser after couple of wears. I bought them brand new and they were tight at first. In buying any dior, you want them to fit as tight as possible. I had to suck in my tummy for my slenders to fit, now they're looser on the legs and waist, had to belt up. So dont worry.

they're called armageddon - the ones Jude law wears.

Becareful in buying used pair, they're probably already stretched out so if they're used and tight on first wear, they'll probably stay that way.

At first I just HATE the touch of waxed jeans but LOVE the look of them. Now I kindda love them both. I disagree. All used pairs I have bought have been in perfect condition. Jude Law also wears UMC, right? Ive heard this but dUNNO

agreed. I had Jakes in 17 and  19 cm and i liked the 19 cut better. It still fit slimmer than other 19cm's

the pair specifically asked was armageddon. if u google jude law where he is signing autographs, thats it. I think he does have the umc as well.

I'm not saying buying a used pair is bad, all im saying is the fitting. When you buy a fresh pair of jeans that are unworn, brand new - they are going to be very tight and that is normal, they will stretch out as you wear them. Thats to answer Marcus as he is overly concerned with how tight his new clawmarks were, they are going to stretch at least 0.5-1inch in waist and a little on the legs as well - just as mine has.

However what i was referring to when buying a used pair is to understand that since they are used, they are usually already stretched out (original measurement on waist + 0.5-1 inch) hence not mistaking that you can still stretch them out further than they already are. So if you get a used pair and on your first wear they are tight, dont expect them to stretch out any further and opt for a refund/exchange if possible. hope this clarifies things :)

I just checked with the boutique in the US, they are getting the new shipment for F/W in the next week (just 5 pairs of denims, 1 in each size) which might or might not include the 17.5cm raw indigo. They are retailing at $495-499 before tax if I'm not mistaken
