Do you think a short guy (I'm 5'7") can rock Jake jeans?  It just occurred to me that the wash seems to have a fade on the thighs but for me, do you think it'd go too low (i.e, on knees)?  Not sure if that makes sense.  

Unfortunately, I didn't try them on while at the store so would be buying them via phone.  I can always return but prefer not dealing with the hassle.

the thigh area wouldnt fit differently. You might want to take 2 inches off the bottom though.

Last I heard, end of June is when those raws 17.5cm are out in boutiques. I cant imagine the price on them, last Jap raw selvage raw they had earlier this year was $810... They're getting ridiculously too overpriced.

Btw I just acquired a brand new fuzzy dream :D

Hi guys. I know my post isn't directly directed on a Dior Homme thing, but since i've been looking at this for ages i take my chances on this forum. Im looking at this coat that David Beckham wears at several occasions.

Anyone could help me ID the brand of this coat please?

I read through couple of Dior sizing guides but since they are so expensive I want to make sure I pick the right size.

I want to buy a pair of indigo raw MIJs.

My size in Diesel is 28 - 29 (28 in Darron, could even be a bit tighter, 29 in Iakop (fits perfect))

Around 29 in Levis.

I laid my Jeans flat and measured them around 39-40cm.

From what I read I should take a 27 or 28. What would you suggest? I prefer a very tight fit, even when the jeans are stretched out.

My Diesel size is 28 and my MIJ Dior Raw is  28. Look at the dior fit pic thread (what dior are you wearing today) to see how mine fit.

Could you maybe measure the waist of a MIJ (laid flat, buttoned up)? I would really like to have exact data. It would also be nice to know how much you've worn the particular pair.

this listing has them. They will stretch out to about 16.25" across though. They stretch out a full size. since dior runs smaller than diesel and these will stretch out a size you should size down one from normal MIJ dior sizing which should end up being your normal Diesel size

So the fuzzy dream is a slim straight cut. Not skinny. The stacking is pretty off, just different than the skinny. But o well, it'd be boring to have the same cut for all my DH - (me justifying to keep it haha).

I'll post some pic some time. They are 19cm slim straight cut, not skinny fit. @ size 30, they're 18.4cm/ 7.25inchs opening. They were like my "Under my Boat" which had a similar cut, I eventually tampered them down to 17.5cm which fits nicely. Im thinking of doing the same for the fuzzy dream, taper it down. Im not sure yet, like i said it'd be boring to achieve the same cut/fit for all my DH. I may keep it the way it is, reason would be to have variation. What do you guys think hmmm

blue clawmarks from 12s/s. do they look too tight on me??

They look good, but definitely skinny.  They're tighter than "slim" jeans.  Is that what you like?  I kind of like lean and sagged a bit, think how Hedi wears his jeans. Dior washes don't really stretch, IME.

yeh i know that hedi likes his jeans saggin'. well, i like stacks better. and most importantly, i'm too short, so if my jeans are saggin', they will immediately fruit up my whole outfit:(

Keep 'em.  The more I look at them, the better, plus, if you're short, the low rise should work well.

I think I would really need to see pics of the whole jean to make a conclusion. Get pics in a mirror or something

will blue clawmarks get looser after wearing?

umm.. i have a question

my blue clawmarks are made in japan, but as i saw some pics of other jeans, there are more tags inside next to the left pocket. and the DIORs with that tag are all made in italy. there are just one tag next to the inside left pocket in mine when there are two tags in some MII diors. is that normal?

I dont have many tag set ups that are the same. Yours came from LVR so they're real. No worries
