Does anyone know when LVR generally begins their next sale or discount code emailings?

So I just picked up 17.5cm Under My Tracks for about $350. What do you guys think of this wash? 

 

also, i havent taken up the courage to wear my 19cm Jakes out of the home yet. I really feel they are too tight. Anytime I am about to leave the home with them on I chicken out and change. So I finally decided to buy the 19cm in size 29 and now I am not able to find them ANYWHERE! So if you come across a SS12 19cm size 29 Jake then please inform me! 

I like UMT but to me there are too similar to jakes (at least compared to the pair I sold you, my jakes are actually browner in color and look great under sunlight)...and it's another coton/elastan blend...does dior still make 100% coton washes? seems that more and more washes come in coton/elastane blend.

 

I tried UMT (17,5cm) in store the day I bought my jakes and the fit was identical, price was like 410€ or something like that but even if I had the money, I think they're not "special" enough to buy them.

 

But one more time, you seem to get good deals on diors...350$ converted in euros is a very good price for this kind of pair that usually sells for more.

 

And why you don't post fit pics of your jakes in 28?

 

My 17,5cm jakes are snug, (you saw the pics) and I feel good about them...

 

 

They are similar to aw11 jakes. I did notice that. That is why I am specifically looking for the SS12 19cm jakes. They are SUPER brown. They are browner than any other pair Ive seen online. (including all the 17.5 Jakes I have seen). I guess if they look too similar when they arrive I will not worry too much about the 19cm Jakes but I doubt that will be the case. I REALLY want those 19cm Jakes. Ill find my old fit pics. 

 

Also, its not that the legs are too tight. The big problem is the upper block. The low rise combined with the smaller waist doesnt sit well over my hips. I have to sag too much to make them not hug my butt. I dont mind sagging a little but if my shirt rises even a little bit then I will have too much showing. 

agree! i think jake 19 ss12 is the best jake ever.. just saw it on the store this week..

 did you find a 29? if so can you proxy to me? basically you send me a paypal invoice. After I pay it, you go to buy the item and send it to me using the money I just paid you. I am protected by paypals buyer protection against any scammers, which is just like eBays. So its pretty safe.

now i'm studying in china and i found 29 in the dior official store.. but it's too overprice, around 6300CNY ($950).. i can't find also from any sites.. i think i will get it in my country when i go back.. maybe it's cheaper..

Hi guys, new to the forum, looking to pick up my first party of DH, probably going to go raw (the black ones), I'm in vegas right now and there's a couple Diors around me. I want to ask how much they stretch, I'm used to wearing nudies and diesel, and nudies are super stretchy so i'm kinda spoiled to the point where I got too lazy to wear my APCs cause it took a long time to stretch out and I just sold it. I'm dedicated to this pair of DH though, as my nudies got ripped.

 

Long story short, how much does it stretch? I've read a lot in the thread about how much it stretches, going from not being able to button all the buttons to comfortably wearing it, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable getting jeans that don't fit initially though...

 

Any suggestions? I've never tried them on yet but I am planning on doing so tomorrow and see how they fit.

Personally Id get the indigo raws. But yes they stretch out a WHOLE size. If you wear a 28 in Diesel you would normally wear a 29 in MIJ Dior Homme. You would size down from that size to a 28 for MIJ Raws.

zdenal or saddock or qwerk or desecrated or anyone who may know: about what time of year does LVR put out the sale codes? I am ready to buy some Diors right now before my size is gone in these 17.5 Jakes but I dont want to buy them at retail only to get a coupon in my inbox two hours later. 

oh and I got my Dior Under My Tracks in today. I like them. They are 17.5 cut size 29. Man this rise is stupid low. I am glad the new Jakes 17.5 dont fit like these do anymore. I think I will keep though. They are wide enough in the waist to where I can sag them enough to make them look good. I just need to ensure I wear long enough shirts

i want to know which one is better, dior homme armageddon or dior homme griffith park? im in the middle of that debate myself thinking which one i should purchase.  Their both brand new with tags but the armageddon will cost me 420 while the griffith park will cost me 350.  Any thoughts or opinions???

 

Well yes but also indigo will go with a lot more and IMO ends up looking better in the end once it is worn in

 

 

Well I personally like armagedon better. Get the one you think you will wear more. 

 

Hey guys, in a similar boat as excal and hoping to get some advice. Been wearing Nudie and Diesel for a long time and want to make the jump into DH. The two main problems are that there aren't any nearby stores that have them, and that I can't afford retail pricing.

 

Given that I haven't even been able to try any on yet, I'm wary of buying a pair blind. Not sure if 19cm or 17.5cm would fit me better if I wear Thin Finn in Nudie and Thavar (or Shioner) in Diesel.

 

The Jakes look to be my favorite look so far, but I'm feeling kind of lost at the moment. Not really interested in raws as much anymore, too much work.

17.5 is closest to thin finn, 19cm is closest to Thavar

Thanks jeanetic! This is probably a dumb question, but what would be the main differences specifically between 17.5 and 19cm? My best guess of the difference is the size of the leg opening, due to their names, but from what you guys have said there seem to be other notable differences overall as well.

thigh on the 17.5 is slimmer. Lower rise(atleast with my under my tracks) , 

zdenal or saddock or whoever can answer: What is the difference, if any, in under my truck or under my track. I have seen both jeans that look the same but spelled differently. Oh also, under my track drill and under my truck drill.....is this just LVR butchering names again?

I think Under my Truck is 100% cotton in 19cm with blue contrast fades whereas Under my Track Drill has some elastane with the cotton and comes in 17.5. Also the UMTD has a slightly muddier and "dirtier" wash.
