Thanks for hooking me up on the UMCs. :)  UMTDs are sick, but I'm not sure if I have any more money that should be spent on jawnz right now.  Just out of curiosity, what size are they?  Got pics?

If they are 28 or 29 Im interested:)

Niico, thanks for the help. MitchL gave me that info a couple weeks back. Good looking out though

Ok sorry !

Btw I am new here so in a few words : I love DH jeans and DH in general, especially under Slimane (but I like KVA spirit too). I live in Paris and I go in Dior stores very often so if you have questions or if you want someone to buy you something, don't hesitate to contact me. I saved a lot of images of Luisaviaroma since a few years, so I will do my best to help peolple who search the name of a wash, for exemple.

About DH denim, I tried a washed silver selvedge, have you seen it ? Very nice. But the price... 580 € !... The Oil Drop is nice but nothing crazy, and I tried a grey dirty one just cool.

I had may be 10 DH jeans but now I only have a pair of Jake and a brut one :)

Considering the price... Now I will wait to be 200 % sure and fall in love before buying an other DH jeans.

Definitely like the wash and the fit on these. I've been considering getting a pair for awhile.

Great to have you here.

The last line of your quote is what I am doing too.  I am only buying things I really love now. Once upon a time, before I ever wore Dior, I bought things just because they were cheap enough. About a year ago I decided that the cost of that is not worth it. I sold off a lot of stuff and now I only have jeans in my collection that I absolutely love.

So I was over at DH boutique @ Beverly Hills, CA this weekend. They had the new spring collection out except for some that are due to come; including work a day.

I got to try Life Brush 19cm MIJ, I know Jeanetic has them on wish list. They are gorgeous. Not as stiff as the rack rails. They fit true to size. Take off the dirt effect off rack rail and cross it with mondays off, you have life brush. They were MSRP US$810 before tax at the boutique if anyone were curious. Wicked wash, a pair that will be sort after past its season for sure.

They had another pair of clawmark a-like (deeper in blue vs. the originals) with leather patching around the waist, didnt try them on.

nice, how work as day look? it´s look nice or just a ugly washed, and tell me about that clawmark a-like , it´s mij or mii. and the price.

Work a day hadnt arrive, thats later in the season. I totaly agree its going to either be nice or bad.

Regarding the deep blue clawmark, I believe it was MIJ and was retailing at $720 or was it $740 before tax.

next time bring a camera ;)

I got in the 17.5cm jakes from lvr yesterday and the fit is pretty off.  Having tried on the 19cm and the 17.5cm both in a size 28, I can definitely say that that 19cm fits slimmer.  Definitely sending these back.

So, I unfortunately have decided that the fit is too tight in the thighs on my UMC07s that I bought from Kgfan, so I'm selling them here or on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290674641524#ht_500wt_1156.  If you're curious, I paid $600 for them and would like to recoup right around there (could take a small loss on them, but I know that he had other offers of up to $575, so I'm not looking to go much cheaper than what I paid).

the right knee distressing having ever so slightly increased in size (see in the 7th picture).

LOL

It only ripped out about a half an inch, so I would call that "slight", yes.

Hey friends.

If this happens, it'll be good enough for me and I'll just buy new YSL instead of Dior. :)  That said, Hedi is not officially announced for YSL yet; everything is based on what some unnamed industry insider said.  Just a week ago, another insider said that Raf Simons definitely had the job at YSL, so I won't get my hopes up until there's an official announcement.

Hi guys

The "jake" i bought 6 months ago fits a bit too big after stretching a lot, so i was thinking about giving them a ride in the tumbledriver to shrink them a bit, anyone who can confirm that i can do this without wrecking the jeans?

Thanks a lot.

If you go in an official Dior Homme store, they will "fix" it as you want for free ! :)

I have the same problem with my jakes. Mine are 31s and they stretch ALOT, so frustrated, only used 10 times or less and I wanna get a new pair size down or shrink the existing one down. What do you mean when you they can "fix" it over at the boutique?

---mod edit---no selling outside of mall----

Btw someone should start a thread to teach us the correct ways to washing our dior denims and perhaps the raws too? Canders and Jean seem to know how :) (My leaden sky are stretched!)

I don't wash my diors...

In fact, it depends on the wash...if I fell they could loose too many details with wash, I don't wash it...and even if I wash it, I do it in last resort. I washed my UMC 09 one time, and my As Good As New one time also and I have those pair since 2 years.

Warm water in bathtub with little detergent and let it dry naturally.

For example, if you take stock pics of As good as New, there is dirt on the thigh...it's gone after washing my pair. I'm going to try to take some dirt like ashes and rub it to get the same effect, wouldn't be so hard.

The 11' jakes doesn't have the aura of its ancestors... I saw lots of pairs beeing sold here and there...
