Yes, I did some research on my own and found out I was wrong about black raw denims being MII only.

I don't know why I thought that, but I have always believed that black raw denims were only available in MIJ as the selvege series.

 from that pics on korean market,it looks MII as Kiss'N"Dust said

MII and MIJ are consistently different in terms of fit

If those are real that dior tag was re-attached it should be sewn above the hem not at it. id stay away from these

Hi All,

I'm trying to get a pair of Dior Raws but am worried about the fit. My slimmest pair of denim are Somet 003 sz 28: http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=2423&category_id=&manufacturer_id=36&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=28&vmcchk=1  It lists the upper thigh as 11.5. Based on the first thread, My size should also be a 28 for Diors but that means the thigh will be 10.5". Now my Somets have shrunk a little bit after one hot soak. I've cold washed 3 times as well, and it's shrunk a little bit. At the crotch to outseam, I believe it was just under 11" now.

Now I don't know where the upper thigh measurement is taken. Is that at the crotch, measuring directly towards the outseam? Or is it 3-4" below the crotch? I don't want to go any slimmer than the Somet's I'm wearing now so before I drop $3-400 on a pair, i want to know how it fits/tapers compared to my Somet. Don't want to hot soak and then find it shrink on me and waste that money.

I'm looking to buy my first pair of dior jeans and I'm looking at the 19cm indigo as the one i want. Just some questions about the sizing if you can guys can help me out. I usually wear Rock and Republics Henlees and Taylors at size 29. They fit my waist kind of loosely (Kind of need to wear a belt but can do w/o) and kind of loose around the thighs. I'm a pretty short guy at 5'5 and what's this stacking thing I keep hearing? Should I keep my size at 29 because I kind of want a snug fit. Any advice would be awesome! Thanks.

Hi, best thing you read this thread, you will find answer for sure (btw. check exact measurements on pair here or on pairs for sale and compare it with your best fitting pairs). Btw. make sure, you go with the smallest size you can, because raws will stretch one size for sure (also depends if it's MIJ or MII).

Hey guys, since my homeland don't have DH boutique. I need advise bout sizing. I already read the whole page on this thread. but still confused to figure out my size. I'm about to get Raw MII 19cm. my true waist 32. so should i size down one or two ? TIA.

hey where can I find a pair of 17.5cm in size 31 mij I cant seem to find them anywhere theres one on ebay but they are 32..

anyone here know what silver selvage diors are? are these considered raw?

^^ yes, they are raw, but they aren't so popular as "standard" MIJ or MII RAWs (if I remember well there was also Red selvage RAWs available).

I'm gonna be heading to NYC on the 22nd of this month and I'm looking to hunt down a pair of 19cm MIJ in black (but indigo would be okay too). Does anyone know how much they cost at Barney's or Sak's or the DH boutique? I've heard the prices have gone up recently... Anywhere else to get them while in NYC?
