Haha I really just want to try them on to see how they fit. I am pretty sure that a 29 would fit me better though, as is the case with my Nightfalls.

My Nightfalls and my UMCs fit pretty similarly and have roughly similar measurements except for the smaller waist on the UMCs and larger hem for the most part... it's just that my UMCs are a lot more forgiving in terms of being spandexy and not being solid black.

Oh, and the rise on my UMCs is higher. The rise on my Nightfalls appears to be quite low!

^same deal with jake, the back rise is so low that I can pull it all the way up, and it still feels like it's falling off my ass. I'm surprised your UMC has the similar measurements, I thought I'd be able to get away in the same size as you, but I guess not.

the jake's didn't feel uncomfortable or anything, it's spandexy like your UMC's, but just looked uncomfortable. my target fit was the marc jacobs fit I saw in pics, maybe a bit slimmer.

Yeah. I wonder how those jeans would fit our waists if we sized up one though. Because the waist seems to be correctly proportioned compared to my other jeans, but the legs are so much slimmer. If I sized up one I'd be worried that the waist would be too big.


Maybe my legs just aren't skinny enough for the 17.5cm jeans that run small haha

what's the word on sizing for the '07 UMC? i've seen 28's measuring 15.5" at the waist, 29's measuring 15.2", 31's measuring 15.8". it seems inconsistent.

will these stretch as much as mij raw indigos? my size 28 inidigos stretched from about 15.5" to 16.5" after 16 months of hard wear. will a size 29 pair of '07 UMCs measuring 15.5" BNWOT stretch to 16.5"?

People say UMC stretches a lot. idk if this is universal for all UMCs. My UMCs don't seem to have stretched much (especially in the waist). I have '09 though.

FW09 sale is good price for me(japan) compare w/t ebay.

$450 is NEVER a good price for a pair of jawnz... IMO

^you wouldn't pay $450 for 07 UMC's 17.5cm? I guess it all depends on how much you personally like and want them, how rare they are, their resell value, and how other people are willing to pay a lot more than you, making it nearly impossible for you to get a good deal.
