hi im new to dior jeans and i've been planning to get a pair this season. may i know what sizes shld i get for the MiI washed jeans particularly the Mulholland Drive if Im wearing a size 26 APC new cures (prestretched and completely buttoned up)? does the material for the jeans allow alot of stretching especially the thighs and the waist area?
Washed MIIs do stretch. Never owned NCs, but from what I read and my experience with NS I would say go with a 27. It might be possible that you fit a 26 but could be as well that you need a 28. Best bet is to go to a store and try on or order somewhere with the option to return. Keep in mind that MII 19cms fit completely different compared to NC. Expect them to be looser in the thigh and calves area.

thanks for the reply. i've tried a pair of 17.5cm griffith park in size 29 and was rather fine just a little tight at the thighs and calves. size 30 will be too big for me but there wasnt any size 28 to compare with. only managed to try a pair of Mij black clawmarks(8E3110530213-903) in size 28 and was able to button up fully just that the size of my thighs could be seen. my waist is 29inches and hips are 31inches. im planning to get them from luisaviaroma.com which states theres a free return policy however im not too sure if there will be any tax charges or shipment charge imposed if it was to be returned from singapore.

Taxes are refunded from your local authorities when you ship them back as a return. LVR holds the right to charge you shipping costs for international returns.

BTW. Griffith Park os 19cm, me thinks.

oic. i mean size exchange not a return/refund.. no additional charges will be incurred right?

and what does the last sentence mean? "BTW. os... griffith park"?
vonWitzleben: Griffith Park comes in 17.5cm too, code is 0E31J2221422
post #2532 of 5249
^ Thats what I wanted to say... Interesting to know.

If you do an exchange with LVR there are no additional fees to ne paid normally.

Very many pairs come in 17.5cm, if not all. They're mostly unavailable in Europe, however widely spread in asian countries.

^what a disgrace for an Euro Diors lover like me...
there are a lot of pairs I'd like in 17.5cm

17.5 ftw!
mmm

I usually prefer slimmer fits, but in your case 17.5cm make you look xcross legged

go for the 19cm IMO
^yea but I think that's due to all the bunching at the knees. it'll look better once that settles down.

thanks for the comments. supposed im wearing a size 29 in the 17.5cm shld i size down for the 19cm? the 19cm in size 29 is pretty loose such that im wearing 2inches above my pubes..
^lol. yes, size down on 19cm from your 17.5cm size.
thanks for your advice. just one more picture to determine my size and i'll stop being so paranoid about the size issues.

me in size 28 MiJ black clawmarks (reference no. 8E3110530213 - 903)
http://img532.imageshack.us/img532/1930/dsc00133e.jpg
do these MiJ run smaller than the MiI washed jeans that im gonna buy?
mij typically has a slimmer fit below the knees(tapered), compared to mii. mii has a lower rise, smaller pockets, narrower hips/thighs/upper block, but is straight leg(more roomy below the knees).
what does "low rise" mean? sorry not really sure about denim terms.
this is rise measurement
lower rise means this measurent is shorter than higher rise

so waist of lower rise jeans will sit just under your real waist, more or less on your hips
this is generally speaking, obviously

oic. thanks for the explanation. i'll just wait till i get my pair from LVR and exchange for a size if needed. btw how long will it usually take for a size exchange?
wow those 250€ size 29 griffith parks are still available! that's mij raw price, can't believe no one wants them.
Anyone know what this denim is called? I'm looking for a size 29 in these...
