so which version of jake's is the best looking? 07, 08, or 09? or is there really a difference between the washes?

how big of a loser would I be if I were to spend $750 on 07 jakes?

Some dior porn here. Got a couple more actually, but didn't have them on hand, so ...

And yeah, I know they all look like new but I wear them in good rotation. I just like to always have things straight and pretty!

forgot to reply...

imo, best looking as always is 07 version

spending $750 on 07 jakes, well, it's up to you...
IMO, jakes 07 are probably one of the most iconic pair of diors ever made
but personally speaking, I'm not willing to pay such an amount for a pair of jeans
and probably never will

btw. I added a pair of MIJ Indigo Raws to my collection, and I'm feeling happy, was a nice deal as well

only 29.

I'm still confused as to my dior sizing, and need some help. the mij raws I got were size 28 brand new unstretched. I had really no trouble doing all the buttons and the clasp. is that a bad thing? shouldn't I not be able to do the clasp the first time I put them on? I felt like I could deff size down on the waist, but what's confusing me is the thighs. they were fitted and snug, not tight but still seemed like there was no extra room to size down. so being that in a 28, neither the waist nor the thighs are tight pre-stretch, do you think I'll be able to do a 27? The main reason I'm asking is because I need to know what my washed dior size will be based on the answer to the above question.

yes, it is a bad thing
when you put them on for the first time, buttons should be hard to button, and clasp (or last button) should be harder, or impossible to button at all (speaking of raws, obviously)

this way, areas that are subject to more tension (waist and thighs) will stretch more, and from the knee down you should be able to avoid baggyness you didn't like in your pair

what is your usual thanaz size, darkknight?
in thanaz 8iw, I'm a 28, but in that size the thighs are not tight, just fitted after stretch. I've never tried non stretch thanaz in 27 so I don't know if that would work. I know in my darron 88z, size 27 is tight in the waist and feels uncomfortable when I sit. the first time I put on the mij raw, I had to force the top button and clasp to close, but it certainly wasn't impossible. I never walked or wore them around though. just tried on like 3 different time. I tried it on one last time before I shipped them out today and it seemed easier to close the clasp more than the first time. I don't know why though as I said I never wore them or gave them a chance to stretch. maybe I was on an empty stomach or they just stretched from being tried on 3 times.

Sorry, not so much into the wax thing plus I don't really know how a 17.5 MiJ would fit me .. think might be a little skinny for my overall style.

Tempting, but idk if 29 would fit me (based on readings they run small so maybe?) But I also already have '09 UMC so these two pairs are probably too similar to justify.

Must find me a nice darker pair! Help me guyzzzz
post #2522 of 5251
Griffith Park is actually really dark. See my collection pic, it's the one in the middle (next to UMC0 ... Mulholland Drive are maybe even a bit darker (see on the left). I really like both.

Btw. I have size 28 in all of my pairs, so I certainly wouldn't size up for Griffith Park from your usual size (and definitely not if you can wear UMC17.5 in 2.
^hmmm interesting. but how does size 28 fit you in all your dior's? because according to saddock, he would need to size up two sizes to button them. do they stretch a lot?

@sh0ebox, I saw your fit pic of 19cm's, and 17.5 suits you so much better. the 19cm grey one's you posted almost looked like safado's.
Well some pairs have a little more space in the waist (like Mondays Off) and some were pretty tight in the beginning (but I could always button them first off without too much force needed), but they don't vary enough to justify a size change FOR ME. Only in MiJ Raws, I would need 27 most probably, I've had a size 28 here and they run big in the waist.
Again, all of this is just my experience ...

Yeah that seems to be the case. IMO my distressed grey 19cms aren't too bad of a fit for 19cm. It's a little bit more relaxed but I still like it. This could also be because I love my Safados too (wearing my 8DK right now haha).

I have tried on a couple pairs of 19cm (e.g., Day Off) that really did not flatter me at all though. I almost felt like I was wearing 21cm with the pair I tried on. The leg opening felt so wide!

If my Nightfalls stretched a little bit more or were just a tiny bit bigger (they run small, ugh), I would definitely not sell them. But I just don't feel really comfortable wearing them sometimes haha, especially if I was to put on a few pounds.
