does anyone have pics of how the 19cm blacks fade? i can only find indigo fade pics on here and i want to see how blacks look in a couple months...
^ They barely fade. That's really all you need to know.

What about assymetry of backpockets? Mine and all indigo 19cm mij raws that I have seen so far have it. I think it is different on the mii. What about the 21cm and 17,5cm cuts?

19cm indigo mij raw backpockets should look like that (those are mine):

It is not that visible on the pics, but I think you guys will get the point. Not only is every backpocket cut assymetrical on its own, but the backpockets are even shaped slightly different.

The coinpocket placement on mine is different as well.

BooBear: Are the ones you posted silver selvedge 19cm? Those are the only 19cm cut made in japan (which they obviously are), other than the normal 19cm mij raw. That might explain the differences.

Not sure how the quality of Silver selvage is, though.
I have a pair of silver selvage diors. the quality is very good. the denim has almost a matted look to them though. the denim is also much thinner than the denim on any other pair of diors i have (raw indigo mij, raw black mij, super slender, dust wash)

@BooBear

Those jeans are definitely real. If you like them, and the price is right for you, then buy them.

These jeans are MIJ. They do not look like silver selvedges to me, but regardless if they are silver selvedge or regular mij raws, you're getting a good pair of jeans.
Cant be regular mij, because of the backpockets! The backpockets on the silver selvadge look more like those on the pics BooBear posted.

Here's that 19cm fit pic I promised. It's a crap pic. The jeans are raw indigo, but look black in the pic. I'm wondering, looking at my profile in this picture if I should be wearing 21cm instead of 19cm.

Silouhette looks ok, but the pic has zero detail as you are photographing against a strong lightsource. The top (whatever it may be) looks way too baggy for the jeans.
yeah, i will get a better pic, though i might not be wearing jeans for a few days until it cools down here in california. I was taking pictures of a vacant apartment to send to a friend and secretly snapped a pic of myself in the mirror.

the top in that picture is just a size small north face jacket - actually pretty snug fitting. I agree though. These 19cm look best with something fitted like a slim-fitting v-neck sweater or something.
Aight, the problem zone on the pic is not the chest, but the arms. Anyways, it might be misinterpreted as there is hardly any detail.
Have to take into account, he is lifting his arms up and that'll probably do the trick making it look baggier.
If its a hard shell maybe, if its some sort of soft-shell or jumper then no.
That North Face jacket is actually a 2 jacket system (it was pretty cold last week whereas now it's like 85F)...one layer of insulation and an outer shell, so even though it is a tight fit, it is bulky.

Awesome fades, vonWitleben. i hope mine turn out like that. How many months is that?
Here is the real progress post:

http://www.honestforum.com/1667406-post1483.html

I honestly cant really say how much wear they have seen. Probarbly more than six but less than ten months of various periods of extrem and seldom wear. I had times were I preferred my washed Diesels again for various reasons. I liked the unfaded look of them for quite a while, but finally had enough of it. The raw denim state, where first fades appear, but the overall look is more plain than anything really turns me off and had prevented me going on to another raw project yet.

They take very long to break in, in terms of first fades starting to form. I have hardly worn them anymore before the progress post and didnt like them at that time. I had them washed and then took the photos. They have a much more natural look now which is much more convinient, imo. Since that I started wearing them a lot again, trying to get them to fade a bit more and finally make them look like dust wash (still much wears and washes to go though).

Ok, so people might hate this question, but I've searched the hell out of the internet and can't really get a straight answer. I'm a 28 in apc ns. I recently got a pair of dior 19cm's in a 30. Is that right or should I have gone with a 29? They fit pretty well right now, they need to stretch out just a tad more in the thigh, but I've only worn them about 4 times (given, I've worn them pretty hard...I've walked probably 3 miles and gone up a number of stairs)...but are these gonna stretch out too much? They look pretty solid right now, but could give a little, am I screwed? When I first got them, I had to struggle to button the top button and everything was skin tight, now I can sag them where they should be and they stay without a belt, but I mail ordered them from barneys in boston and all they had were even sizes, so I wasn't able to buy a 29 and a 30 and try to figure out my size between the two. I'm confused.
Post a pic. Diors stretch much less compared to APCs and it sounds like you might be fine with the 30. But maybe youre a tweener. 29 might be a tad too tight and 30 might be a tad too loose. Keep in mind that 19cm is meant to be very slim but not skinny.

I gave mine a wash recently and they are skin tight everywhere again, when fully stretched I have the feeling that they are a tad loose. Going down one more size is impossible as I already have signs of stretch around the fly. 17.5 cm might be the solution.

Maybe same for you?
I'll post pictures soon. I need to borrow a camera. My APC's almost broke in the fly trying to stretch to where I needed them to and my diors already have signs of stretch in the fly (although minor). But I doubt 17.5cm is the solution for me. I'm bigger (5'11 180lbs) so my shoulders are still pretty broad even though I've leaned up a lot. I think anything that skinny in my ankles would make me looks massive in the upper body. I think the thinner denim in the diors is maybe throwing me off? I may just be paranoid that it's gonna stretch more than it is. I was surprised by how cheap the denim felt compared to apcs.
And by the way, I think your diors look great in your waywt posts.
Thanks. There are certein areas, which Id like to be tighter. Knee area e.g.

And Yes denim is quiet shitty for the price. They arent constructed that bad and the denim isnt terribly bad, but comparing them to other denim at that price it is almost ridiculous. I even have a lot of Diesel denim (referring to ones like 8GZ or 72L and so on), which I would consider higher quality, denimwise. But the 19cm cut is why I (and most other Dior owners) am willing to pay the price. Additionally, I really like the darting construction, much better than most of the japanese branding style.

Used DH is a great buy.

I got mine for like 110 shipped.
washed or raw, what condition? pics? Could be a great deal.
MII indigo 28W, 19cm, bought from someone on SuFu. Already faded which was a plus for me since I can't be bothered to wear the same thing every day. Although I find myself wanting to wear them all the time, naturally. There's a phone fade, a lighter fade, and a cigs fade.

Wore Safado 71R today during the day and they are actually thicker and hotter than my DH. I'll get pics up soon, but haven't been taking many pics lately at all.
^ By lately, do you mean in the past 9 months? lol

I very vaguely recall your last picture, and it was from like... summer or something.
Too bad these don't come in indigo. The denim is much better than DH:
