hows the fit? It's from the s/s 09 19cm MIJ(SIZE 26). I was told they are raw by the sales person in the Dior boutique in NYC. But on diabro.net they say one wash. whats the difference will they fade less?Oh and will i be able to do the clasp after a few wears?

Thank God For That. Everyone Can't Be Perfect...

leethawk... you should work on standing less awkwardly when taking fit pics. Not really helping out your situation at all. The fit on those looks eh --- makes your calves look bigger than your thighs (wtf). Hard to really judge though until you take better pics (better lighting too, plz. Don't stand in front of a source of bright light as it will underexpose everything in front of that source, if anything you should have the camera where you are standing and you where the camera is)

Also... do not ever wear those shoes with those pants. Same goes for the sweater
post #1985 of 5541
/agree about the photos.

But the shoes and sweater? They really all that bad?
IMO yes. I think you should go for something slimmer in terms of both for those pants, since they're so slim.
Those shoes are nice, and I usually hate nikes, but yeah do need slimmer shoes.
That makes sense. I didn't understand why you didn't like them. I'll get some better pics up in a few days. Hopefully will be better. The calfs are kind of an issue though because I don't want to hem them and they just kind of stack up like that . . .
Push the stacks down yourself and clean them up a little... might help with the silhouette.

I used to be into Nike Dunks a few years back, so it's not that I don't like them because I think they're ugly (I still own several pairs myself, but rarely wear them anymore as they don't really suit my style), but you could definitely find something that suits those pants a lot better
post #1990 of 5541
Hey guys need some feedback on whether i should hem these a bit of let the stack settle down. The pictures are on the very top of this page. Thanks.

Are they brand new on those pics? Fit is good imo and they should probarbly stretch enough so that you will be able to close the clasp. I think one wash means rinsed in that case, which just does the enourmous initial shrinking, so you dont have to soak them before you wear them. I dont think that Dior produces real unwashed raw denim. I dont really know, but there should be people around here that know for sure.

And concerning the stacking: Whatever you prefer. Yours look good the way they are, given one likes massive stacking. They will settle down after some time of wear and look much more natural. I didnt hem mine but stacking is not that extreme.

And sorry, but I have to tell you as well: Dont post fits with sweaters like that! It does not suit the denim in any way. Same goes for the shoes, even though I have to admit that this might be a question of personel preference.

Judge away! ;p

If nothing else, this photo should be somewhat fun to look at.

They feel right Brian, they feel right . . .
they look much better than in ur last picture
post #1995 of 5541
^Agreed. Much better! +2 (if I could) for the improved fit pic and girl
post #1996 of 5541
I figured that if the fit was still shitty, at least I'd have a cute blond girl kneeling next to me ;p
post #1997 of 5541
Wow, that girl is hot!!!
Do Dior's come in more relaxed cuts? Or are the 21cm the most relaxed? I feel hella weird and can't stand wearing skinny/slim fits.
Those cuts are the reason to buy diors, imo.
