Hi, first time poster, long time reader,

I know that I should read the entire thread before posting. It's a long thread though.

I just wanted to ask a question about Dior jeans. Not really fit related, because that's been addressed in the pages I've read.

I'm just looking for good shopping options. 600 US is out of my price range. I would not mind spending up to 350 for a pair, but I don't know where to look. There is also a problem as far as my size goes. I wear a 26 in most Diesel cuts, so I feel really limited.

I'm looking for suggestions, or an ice cold bucket of reality-water in the face saying that "I simply cannot afford a pair of Dior at the moment."

I think jskidder could help you best about the sizing since he's also a 26 diesel. Other than that, good luck searching on a used wash pairs on ebay or sufu. Or just get RAWs.

Normally I wear size 28 in raw 19cm mij and blue clawmark 19cm.
1.Can I fit into under my car 07 size 27 ?
2.I heard that under my car jeans fit bigger than both raw and clawmark. Is it true ?

^you could not fit those umc. i wear 27 in both raw and 07 umc and the umc is slimmer in the waist, hip, and thigh when comparing both jeans fully stretched. you could probably fit a 27 in the 08 version with stretch, but i would just look for a 28 in the 07's.

the only thing you could afford is a pair of the raws, nothing washed. and you would probably want a 27.

I honestly don't know why anybody would want anything other than the raws.

because the washed and coated jeans are better. raws are good, but you only need 1 pair of those and i don't wear the same jeans everyday. my raws are more just like my beater pair for me.

washed diors look amazing

i agree with you...for the most part, i think the washed/waxed diors are over the top and tacky looking (in particular, anything waxed, w/glitter, or umc's)

i'd say the raws are better imo

if the dior raws are better than washed/coated diors, i'll buy more apc raws, nudie long john raws, etc.... rawzzzzz. So, ppl don't have to spend that much money anymore. And it will make us look the same.

This might be one of the most poorly worded responses I've seen! But I get the idea. You don't want us all to look the same.

That seems unlikely in any case as the general population doesn't wear diesel. An even smaller portion of the population wears raw. And I'm willing to be an even smaller yet portion of wears washed dior than dior raw + other japanese raw, or diesel.

i can't access sufu. my only computer is my work laptop and we had a ton of viruses going through our server and network starting a few weeks ago, so they blocked a bunch of sites. not sure why i can still get on here and styleforum.

Ok, before I ordered online I wanted to try some on in person, so I went to Barneys Chi, I wear a 28 in thanaz and that fits perfectly, they didn't have any 29s, all they had was a 28 MII washed pair, looked raw, but it wasn't raw. The pair was just too tight on my thighs and waist area. I could barely walk properly. Would I go for a 29 MII raw and a 30 MIJ raw? There was so much sizing info in the thread I couldn't determine exactly what I needed.

def don't size up 2 on the MIJ raw. Most people will say 28 MII raw and 29 MIJ. I stuck w/ my Diesel size for my MIJ raw's and they fit fine though.

31.5 inseam don't bug me none. I usually wear sz 27 but i've noticed that, even with a fully stretched sz 27 mij, that they are far too tight in certain parts of my quads. Even if they might fit a tad on the baggier side, that's all good. I need something to beat around in big time.

It's so cute to see a size 27 in Dior Homme use terms like "quads."

You're right, it is cute. Especially considering that only people with a certain waist size and above can show interest and have knowledge in things relating to fitness, muscle groups, weight training and similar activities.
