hi guys, i really like dior jens, but im afraid im too tall and big for it
Can you tell me,
do dior jeans exist with 34 in waist and 34 inseam?
youll be fine. all dior jeans have a long inseam and there is a 34w
post #1278 of 5251
the inseam on all diors is around 38". read the damn front page before asking questions like that...

got day after day delivered to me about a week ago really, REALLY digging these. insanely comfortable. comparing them to my mij 19cm....the calves aren't as tight so the stacking looks a little off so i may get them hemmed in due time. only been able to wear them twice so far so i don't know how stretching will affect the fit. still looking out for a worn pair of black mijs tho in w27.....

^have you noticed the severe indigo bleeding on those day after day? they bleed worse than my raws and ruined a white t of mine. i also have wallet fade on them from only 2 wears, which is strange. but it makes me think they will end up looking crazy awesome if i wear them a lot.
i haven't noticed! shit, i better check that out. i wore them out the first night I got them and went dancing and drinking...so any bleeding that might have occurred i failed to notice. i'm going to start putting some hard wears into them because they are INSANELY comfortable. i accidentally wore them with a boo overdye and didn't realize how low cut they were until then.....really, really worth the price. i dig the fuck outta em.

Belt Help?

So I'm a little off topic here.

I'm looking at a couple of D Point Belts and wanted your guys' opinions.

The first has a single stitching:

The second has a double stitching:

I want it to be versatile and capable of being used with DH jeans and for formal business occasions as well.

Any help is appreciated.

i know a lot of people here don't like the d-point but imo it's one of the most versatile belts i've seen. the difference between the new (single stitched) and last year (double) is very minor and really no one would even notice. the only reason to pick up the old one is for whoring, imo.

either can be worn formal or casually. i think the length of the tail matters more than anything else. too long of a tail (aka the runway look) would is strictly casual imo

You would wear that belt formally?
i would rather shoot myself than wear a d-point period. its for style-less brand whores only. it is the cheapest belt dior makes because its by far the shittiest quality and uses inferior leathers. they mass produce tons of them every season because logo whores and guidos love them. there is no attention to detail of craftmanship whatsoever, its just a belt that says dior.
Hence my incredulous post to Mihalis..."formally" literally implies formalwear, but I wouldn't wear that with a suit either. Or jeans...or at all for that matter.

Anything in particular you'd recommend for use with DH raw and formal use as well, jskidder?

imo, a belt that can be used for both casual and formal wear (and actually work with both) does not exist. get 2 belts.

As James said, there is no belt that can do that.

"Formal" literally implies tuxedos and cummerbunds. So scratch that.

I assume by "formal" you mean "business suit." In that case, your belt should either be black or maroon/cordovan, with a gold-colored buckle.

I really hate black belts with silver-colored buckles...looks so cheesy and guido-style.

wear pants with a tab and go beltless. looks so clean
post #1294 of 5251
I look like a clown when I wear a belt...I hate the way that when a t shirt covers my belt, there is so much bulging going on where the belt is. Looks like I'm wearing a title belt under my shirt. I don't wear belts. =(
post #1295 of 5251
not wearing a belt with jeans is worse than wearing a white studded one. if your jeans have belt loops for the love of god put a belt on, going beltless is for chicks.
Tanner makes a neat black leather belt with black hardware. Guess that could be for both?
^NO! that tanner is so casual its not even close to working both ways.
Yea, I don't know if one belt will do then.
Tomatous - men should own many belts.

Since belts should match shoes, you should have belts to match with most of the shoes you will wear.

I have:
1 black belt with gold-finished buckle (suit or business attire)
1 burgundy belt with gold-finished buckle (suit or business attire)
1 canvas belt in blue (jeans)
1 canvas belt in drab olive (jeans)

I'll be getting one of those belts from Corter, too. But I really think that belts should not be a centerpiece of your outfit, and unless you're buying for quality/durability there is no reason to spend loads of money on them. I hardly ever wear a belt with jeans, which is why I negged James. There's a legit practical/hygienic reason not to do it, and it exposes more of your jeans to boot.

yeah you should just get a belt like this guy. and make sure the buckle part shows! STUNT 101.
