I'm talking about Kimmy if she got them shipped to her.
quite the quick one you are....
I bought one. I'm in NY so I should get it pretty quick. They were selling out of them as I was on livechat with their customer service.

Enter AFF10 and get an extra 10% off

i don't know if maybe he's wrong...i guess i'll wait and see

Here's to idiots!!! (in this case anyway )

To Kimmy and Sigmatic, too bad the continents drifted apart soooo long ago ..
The guy on customer service was really friendly...

He told me he would email the warehouse and have someone check for me to see if they are mii or mij. I'll let you know when I hear back or when I get the jeans, whichever happens first.

what's worse is that australia wasn't any closer to america during the pangaea days!

oh well, what can you do?
There was an overland route though .
i tried the AFF10 and it didnt work yesterday
post #37 of 195
I hope they are MIJ for all those that ordered.. Would hate to see all those upsets..
They're probably MII, I wouldn't even order anything from bluefly unless it's near 40-50% off since it's not worth risking to save 20% if you don't know what you're getting.
if they are mii you aren't even saving any money over retail. mij retails for $330, but mii only costs $260ish at retail.

I smell outrage.

is this correct? i mean, eLuxury sold the MII ones for $260ish last year but now they're $330. is it eLuxury's markup (which is really no different than barney's or saks in my experience) or did Dior increase their pricing as well?
I was just about to post that elux was selling the MII for $330
post #43 of 195
they are actually mij on eluxury, they just don't know dick about their products. this was confirmed by someone from another forum who ordered a pair a few months ago.

retail on mij in dior boutiques is $325, and barneys and most other shops sells them for $330. last year they were about $5 cheaper. mii retails for $260 in dior boutiques, slightly more elsewhere.
thats true, i remember that thread
this is a bit of a noob question, but how can you tell mii from mij in person? Does it say it anywhere on the tag? How can they not know their own product that they are selling?
the only way to tell is to look at the inner tag. dior jeans don't have official tagged names either, only reference numbers. so there is no way to know what exactly you have by looking at the hang tag unless you are a dior expert and memorize reference numbers. the only wording on the hang tag of a pair of mij 19cm is "jeans 5 poches 19 bleu", which is the exact same thing it says on a pair of mii or even any pair of pre-distressed dior jeans in the 19cm cut.
then how did whoever confirm that the jeans being sold on Elux are MIJ if they say the exact same thing as the MII?
someone bought them and checked the tag on the inside. it ain't rocket science...
