you forgot the coveted 772!

Anyway.. here are some pics of my X-Rotuck 772s (from '03 Lab 340). I just sold them a few days ago though... but I thought I would just contribute some pics:

So, let's begin with the mythic X-ROTUCK 796 wash:

I have been told that Diesel issued a limited serie at Diesel Denim Gallery in 2002. There is no real difference at first glance between the DDG X-ROTUCK 796 and traditional 796. Only a DDG ink stamp is printed onto the inside side of the right pocket.
If some members could give some informations about this peculiar serie, it would be great! Thank in advance!

I bought this DDG X-ROTUCK from a member here Jawsz12 and I thank him again!

About this X-ROTUCK 796 DDG 2002, Jawsz12 wrote in a previous thread:
"...they stamped it ddg probably because it was the first batch of x-rotuck 796s released so it was in limited quantities and only sold in one store in Ny."

Sorry! Many thanks! Shame on me - I own 3 of them!
the Drag and drop fonction must be the reason...

Whatever, fantastic pics and wonderful contribution - Thanks a lot!

Diesel X-Rotuck 796 | Lab #3387 | 28x34

There is a story behind these. These made a journey all the way from a mushroom farm in Thailand to a condo in New York. The seller on eBay sent these amazing X-Rotucks to me w/ a package of home grown dried mushrooms as a bonus.

Just a tease. More pics coming soon...(i'm a perfectionist).

I believe that some of the washes you listed are in fact Rotucks, and not X-Rotuck.

X-Rotuck 796, 07/04/04, Lab 314

Just got them. So far, I dig 'em.

Worn pics > floor pics.

Maybe if we see them worn, some of us will understand why people are paying such high premiums for them.

Ross, I understand what you mean and you are certainly right but this thread is not an "How do you Wear your Diesel Today".
This is also maybe the way to keep it more positive and constructive! ...
Lol!

Yes, but you've already got 3 different picture posts of the 796 wash, so it's kind of gone in the "WAYWT" direction anyway.

And, in response to your PM, I'm not planning on negging or criticizing anyone. Just want to see what these things look like when they are worn. We all know what Zathans look like but I have not seen many worn pics of this highly desired cut.

^to tell you the truth I've got tons of denim laying around that I've never worn and some pairs of X Ros seem to fall in that category ...
