I'm not much of a pic poster, but if I do, it'll be a while. If you're a Seinfeld fan, picture Kramer when he wears jeans in the eposide, "The Wait Out".

Post soak, they are soooo tight (snug, ill-fitting).

Once they stretch, they should be tight (cool, rad!).

that's the reason why I only did a 1 hr soak. The waist was snug even before I soaked em, and I was worried I'd lose so much inseam they'd become highwaters. 1 hour was enough to get the inseam & waist just right to where they were still wearable.

Hey! What size did you get? I was wondering if you could let me know the current waist measurement of your F310? I'd really appreciate that!!

they came in at size 34 (33 tagged), and post soak they were about 32.5. They've stretched to almost to a 33, over about a 1 week period. Hopefully it's done stretching in the waist and thighs

How is soaking different from washing? Will the denim lose dye and become softer? Does the dye settle into the denim (which makes it harder to fade afterwards?)

After soak, how do you dry it? Does it hang dry?

Sounds like a real pain in the ass.
Washing agitates the indigo on the denim constantly, it'll fade the denim quicker... Hang Dry if u dont want it or cant have it to shrink so much, and if u like that stiff feeling of denim. Tumble Dry if u need to maxiumize ur shrinkage

It's not a pain at all though, an hour or so in the tub, hang dry, you're good to go.
hardcore?? wearing it while soaking is so that they dont shrink to the point where u cant put them on

Sadly, I do not. Man, the thighs are constricting. I'll be selling my F310s and buying a new pair.

Too bad they don't fit u! What size of jeans do you usually wear? It seems like F310 fits looser in thighs area than 3001 according to the measurement charts provided on Self Edge is Denim. Can someone tell me if it's true? I have this question because the measurement charts between 3001 and F310 I found on http://item.rakuten.co.jp/klax-on/3001 are identical
. Thanks in advance!i

from what I understand they are the exact same cut..

difference comes in the stitching.
they are the exact same jean. any difference in measurements on selfedge is just due to normal variation you may find between pairs of the same size.

Hey steve, give them time. Do some squats. Were they obscenely tight pre-soak?

Ben, I bought them from a guy after the soak. I can barely do squats or lift a leg to where my thigh is parallel to the floor.

If I don't unload them, I'll keep them to use as motivation to knock off a few more lbs. It's the damn thighs! I don't know if they'll stretch.
They'll stretch, trust me
My flathead 3007's stretched a ton. Its made of the same denim as the 3001/F310. They will stretch, just do some squats. hah.

Alright Ben & tomatous, you've convinced me. I'll keep them and give them some time.

Here come the squats.
