ok. comments should be working!

1. comments bump up an item. but comments from the original poster of the item don't bump.

2. the original poster of the item can bump their item up when the bump button apears (after 48 hours)


ok feel free to check it out on any items and give suggestions on how to improve the system!

thanks for your patience everybody, and thanks to jeff and levi and everybody who are making the mall as best it can be!

yea, if you subscribe to any thread in the mall, it should email you updates if you have your account set to email you. (you can tweak the settings in your UserCP)


can you guys test this out for me and make sure it works.

Very nice!

Could you programmers find a way to make the mall work on smart/mobile phones? I know there are tons of iPhone users like me, and it sucks not being able to check out the mall until I get home from school at night. The iPhone uses the Safari browser, btw.

The only way that I can find to subscribe to a mall listing is to actually post in it. I don't see the above option in a mall listing, just in the forum. How do you subscribe without posting in the listing? Thanks

Now all that remains is to make it POSSIBLE for people who so desire to view the threads in the same way they were displayed before: As normal forum threads with number of responses and page views and little stars that show threads with new posts and little icons to click to bring you to the newest posts etc

I mean I love the new mall and everything but I don't see the harm in giving users the opportunity to use the old look if they wish. Choice in general is a good thing and can do nothing but attract more people to the mall.
