The person in question is obsessed by how much an item costs, everything has price tag attached to it , I assume that because my health and fitness club has a lot of rich footballers as members it is some kind of WAG thing but who cares they all assume they are Victoria Beckham anyway

People just try to show off with supposedly how much money they have. Funny thing is many of the people who show off the most are really the ones with the least amount of money in their bank account or are heavily into debt.

People who truly have money do not have to talk about having money. If they own nice stuff, it's not a big deal owning it after awhile.

^ very true.... i've noticed more upper middle class people like to brag about cost but people who come from real money and i'm speaking of people whose families make millions seem to be very respectful and less showy of their 'money' and are raised with a bit more class than those other people w/ not that much money who are trying way to hard to seem like their rich.

and besides who really cares if you have money doesn't make you classier if you're flaunting it chances are you're very crass and have less class than a hillbilly in a trailer park

I'm sorry but when did a whole Ed Hardy suit become "classy" or "expensive looking?" Poor kid probably looks like Kevin Federline mixed with some Flava Flave.

I've recently started working in Harrods in London (making coffee, nothing to do with jeans) but have gotten talking to a couple of girls from the dept next to me....one of them was pleased today as she'd sold 6 pairs of R&R jeans over the course of the afternoon, all of them at £349 a pair!!!! WTF?!?! Is that the norm for these jeans? Or is this Harrods sticking on a premium?
And she says they're made in China......now i'm a diesel buyer so all this comes as a shock, that they can charge so much for these jeans with crystals on the arse....i like them (on girls.....crystals on boys....errrm, no) but that price is rediculous!

You commute from Bristol everyday? I thought that was sort of far...? Anyway, Knightsbridge Harrods is always loaded with tourists and it IS London so yeah, those prices are typical. Visit Hammersmith or Clapham TK Maxx for cheaper R&R.

Does that girl get a commission on the 349 pounds?

I got it wrong, she said DVBs are made in china, she never said where R&Rs were made.
And yes she gets commission, dont know how much but she seemed pretty pleased about the day!
