7FAM, certain R&R...for lesser known brands I love Dylan George and Denim for Immortality. Of course, I also own some COH, Paige, TR and WR, but 7FAM dominates my wardrobe--they suit my curvy shape quite well.
post #83 of 1588/25/10 at 8:35pmcan't believe pple talking about Aber and AE...
I'm not saying theyre always ugly but can't be close to dior or balmain....
my fav?...dior homme no doubt simple and clean
post #84 of 1588/28/10 at 8:42pmI tend to stick with 7FAM. I really like the Slimmy fit, and now have two pairs, along with the Standard, and an "A" Pocket. I'm addicted!
I can't find a fit I like in TR, and I think it's pretty overpriced. Looking into some APC's too

HAHA!!! You're witty!!! So I really have been thinking about PRPS. Do you own a pair? If so will you post pics? Only because I want to know what the authentic ones will look like. You know what I mean? I buy online so if you show me the real deal I will be able to compare.

in 7 i tend to gravitate toward dojo's... they fit my shape well and a good go-to jean for me... plus they always have the coolest washes!
also wear, Will Rast, Joe's, and would love to find some old Levi 501's ...
HATE True Religion... so annoying, sorry

I cant order TR offline because everytime I do it it doesnt fit me right. They run different from style to style sometimes. Im really feeling William Rast and I just got my first pair recently. They fit very well. And as far as 7FAM goes, you CANNOT go wrong. They are ok for every occasion and are just classic. The Standard fit for men fits me the best but I love Austyn, too.post #94 of 15810/19/10 at 10:26amto clarify my problem with TRUE RELIGION JEANS: They just remind me too much of those dudes that constantly wear the Ed Hardy shirts and wear their sunglasses inside like they're just so cool, when they actually look like fashion challenged dorks... lol
Too overdone! Miss Me jeans are on the same path... they need to settle down with all that BLING BLING! Just a little too trashy IMHO...

I like the sophisticated look and most of those brands: TR, Miss Me, etc etc tend to overdo it with all the crap they put on the pockets and the super overexxagerated stitching... and its too bad because the fit on the Mek and Miss Me's is usually great for most body-types...
cant say the same for True Religion though... they make EVERYONE'S butt look FLAT AND WIDE - unless you're a size 0, then they just make you look like you have a butt...
I'd save your money and go with a classier jean like: Current Elliott, 7FAMK, Hudson, Joe's, Citizens of Humanity, etc etc
If you MUST do a western-looking flap-pocket style, try Stitch's Jeans... they're cool and coveted(don't see too many sporting them around)...
reasearched and tried on over 1,000 different pairs and brands of jeans! and STILL ON THE HUNT FOR THOSE OL' LEVI 501's!!!

I really agree with you on the whole Ed Hardy thing and the sunglasses inside. I feel the same about affliction and crap like that. The reason I do like True Religion is because it adds a different dimension to my jean collection. I own William Rast, 7 For All Mankind, Joe's Jeans, Diesel, Rock & Republic, and True Religion. 7 For All Mankind is most certainly forever in style. I just like having many dimensions to my jean collection. I am hunting for a good deal on some Nudies at the moment. and I HATE rock revival. I think they are trying so hard to be true relgion.Quote:Originally Posted by jaxx913

To each his own. I would never look down on anyone for wearing anything different than me(be it Rustler, Wrangler, Affliction, or Prada). I for one, cant afford D & G. I love made in the USA designer denim, though. I'm willing to spend a little more to support an American company. I've been ripped apart on Style Forum for wearing R&R and TR. They think its trashy to walk around like a billboard. I told them that anything you wear you're gonna be a billboard for. Levis, Wrangler, even Dickies. And am I a billboard for Honda because I drive a Honda??? Maybe, but that doesnt mean anything about my character. So I think judging people by what they wear tends to be little fruitless.Return HomeBack to Forum: More Womens Jeans- What are Your Favorite Designer Jeans?
