^they stretch wherever they are tight. mainly in the waist and hips, but the thigh and knee have also stretched.

Thanks for the ass shot.

noob question here...
Is there a difference between the Indigo MIJ 19cm when Slimane was still around and KVA (S/S '08?)? And how much longer are they gonna be producing these raws?

absolutely no difference in the jeans from fw 07-08 to ss 08. that may change as kva takes more control of the collection but nobody knows if or when that would happen.

How tall are you? I am 5'9" and I am wondering about hemming my 19cm MIJ raw blues. I like the stacking but I don't want toooo much.

Thanks, jskidder. Yours look great. I just got mine yesterday and they are really long. I tried them on once and rolled up the leg. I haven't worn then stacked yet. I thought they were a little too long but if the look as good as yours I will be happy. Thanks.

stacked is good if lower leg stays tight,if you start having the lower leg a tiny bit loose it looks like crap (at knee mainly) just like straight leg jeans with too long inseam

btw skids, very very insane fits,1st is MIJ raws,2nd is soft interference and 3rd is sharp notation? I dont know what model'sheer' is

Thanks, Aarendil. I have the MIJ now and have MII on the way that I bought from a dude on SuFu. I think these are going to be my fav.

sheer is a new model with a 17.5cm cut ala the super slender & jake from previous seasons, constructed using raw denim with 3% polyurethane and made in japan.

how much did you spend on 3 pairs? a Grand? What's the best place to get them, Diabro? I want to buy from a place with a good return policy in case they fit me like shit..

Also, I don't like places that ship UPS, I prefer USPS.

^with customs, shipping, etc i think the 3 totaled around $1350. the best way to get them is via a proxy or directly from dior or at barneys or saks in person. as far as online retailers there really isn't many at all. eluxury has a few, but its a shitty selection (21cm mij, the metallic silver ones, and the 17.5cm sheer grey). diabro is ok, but its still international and won't end up being any cheaper than a proxy for a pair of 19cm. and if you need to return the shipping back will be a ton. luisaviaroma has by far the best selection, but again you won't save any money unless you order multiple pairs to cut down the $80 charge for shipping and returns will be a pain in the ass. and fyi, the duties on cotton pants will be 16% of the value.

I didn't know US charges duties. So if I order something from luisaviaroma, I'm going to get hit with duties? I never had to pay any duties before.

^yes, anything from luisaviaroma will be taxed. pants are 16%, but the rate changes based on type of clothing item being imported. fedex covers the charges up front, but about 10-14 days later they send you a bill.

Oh, they use fedex. I had a fedex account, when the customer doesn't pay the duties, they bill the sender. That's what happened to me, had to pay over 200, because the customers didn't pay!

Yup, that's what they did to me. I didn't pay for a long time, and the collection agency kept calling, so I just paid it in the end.

well damn, if thats the case... I might have to start buying from there...

I don't know if it's different in the US or Canada, if you don't pay.

i have a feeling that if i don't pay it fedex will be going after me and not lvr. i'm probably better off just paying it.
^ does it get taxed because it's coming from that country or because it's a premium item?

Nice fit on the Diors, I just bought a pair of MIJ 19cm today, I think they are raw but from what i see on diabro.net they have the same jean i purchased and it says once rinsed. It's part of the new collection Spring/summer 09. What is the difference, will it fade less?
