Is there such a thing as U-2 style R&R

A friend of mine asked me if there was such a thing. They have a pair in a consignment shop and she was asking my opinion. I'm no expert and I've only found 1 on ebay in completed listings. Anyone know?

haha maybe [s]he is looking for clothing designed by musicians? How bout Victoria Beckham R&Rs??

I'm not sure exactly as I didn't see them myself. SHe said it says "handmade in the USA" and where it says style it had a U-2. I've never heard of those but thought they might be an older style. I will tell her to stay away from them.

lol She said that it says "style name : U-2". I thought it might be an older style.

Hmmm... i'm trying to think of any washes that have U2 in it...
is that the full wash code? can u find it out... i'm really very curious to figure out what ur friend has...

then again could just be fakes

I bet they are real, just VERY old....white paper tags, right? She saw them at a consignment shop, BUT she didn't buy them, correct? I would like to see pics. I have seen some pretty old R&R's before, and own a few as well...when I used to work at the Rack, we would get them in from the mainline store occasionally, and I have a jacket, 2 shirts, and a pair of crops and a pair of jeans, and a skirt and some of them say, "Hand made in the USA," on them. And the style names are different....they don't use them anymore. Style names are, Cult, Guns, Sabath, Punkrock, and Primus. I have been wearing R&R for 4 years, but I don't have as much knowledge about some of the more current styles like ntegragsr93 does....she is the R&R queen, hands down!

If she wants to buy them, I wouldn't pay very much for them, just because they are such old styles...
