thanks... i think it helps to see how things fit, which is why i did it like this.

Love the Lees! The crazy board shots as well.

I dig that first look - the gloves and cammo look nice. You're also one of the few people I've seen who can really pull of evisu. They look like crap on me and most people I see wearing them in NYC like 10 sizes too big.

My "collection" is depressingly small. Of course I don't like to think that I collect clothes, but rather buy what I need/want

are those pictures from 2004?

Sigmatic's raw collection:

shitty pics, but what can you do? there's actually a good deal of wear on the nudies but it's more apparent in the sun. I really only have 4 of the 6 in rotation

Nudie RRDS 32x34, 6.5 months, 3 days a week average - 0 wash, 2 warm soak at 3 and 4 months)

Flathead f310 sz34, 1.5 months, 1-2 days a week avg. - one initial hot soak

Ironheart 634s sz32, 3.5 months, <1 day/week - 0 wash, 0 soak

5ep ldb, 31x34, 4 months, 2 days a week average, 1 warm soak at 2 months

the current colledtion. L-R, T-B

PBJ xx-004 (too small right now), DenimJunkie 501-xx (too big), 5ep LDB
Nudie RRDS, Flathead f310, IronHeart 634s

cheers

Where can I find some cheaper raw denim in these name brands? I love the second and third pairs. I like nudies too, but is it just me, or are the back pockets longer than most jeans? Thanks!
the ironhearts and the flathead occasionally show up on sufu and every once in a blue moon on styleforum. the resale is pretty high for a slightly used pair since these are top notch denims with really long lives.

i bought both of these at selfedge.com (well, the B&M store) and they're easily worth the 300+ pricetag. i bought the nudies on clearance from standardstyle last summer for 160 which is about all they're worth in my opinion. don't get me wrong, they're great jeans, but for their retail price (275) i can get much better quality. the pockets are bigger than most raws but not really bigger than, say, zathans.

The price points on all of those jeans are pretty high. Either look on ebay or sales online or maybe used. Other than that you may just have to suck it up and be ready to shell out some duckets.
Hmmm yeah I don't think I have ever paid $300 dollars for a pair of jeans. The most was $200. Anymore I can find great deals on ebay *duh* but I have searched for dry denim and haven't had such luck...I would like to try the dry denim.

QUESTION:
Are these authentic raw denim or do you think the seller is just putting that in the item description? I really like them. But the seller doesn't seem to check their email very often...

It's much easier to find denim deals on ebay by using favorite searches. Create a bunch of searches and just have ebay email you when results pop up. Some of these brands only show up every few weeks or months so just looking a couple of times wont do it.q
post #21 of 23
if you're looking for reasonably priced raws, check out good society or nudie slim kims. If you're on a serious budget check out cheap mondays.

Dont mind the red scribbles :P
