Is that a KVA creation since it has the top button instead of the clasp?

the 17.5cm cut is from hedi, its from the jakes and super slenders he did the last few seasons. kva seems to be using it more in his collection though. the button detail is a kva era thing, but it is present on all the jeans from the current season even the direct carryovers. in fact, even the mij raws that are/will be arriving in stores soon will have a button instead of the clasp despite the jeans being identical otherwise.

how is this raw if it has stretch? I talked to the store and the current stock of 17.5 is not jap... is this unusual?

raw denim can have any type of fabris content that any other denim can have. i have seen raw jeans with silk, linen, polyesther, and lycra in them many times. it is all in how they are dyed, not in what type of fabric is woven into the denim.

the sheer model is the only 17.5cm jean that is raw. maybe the ones you saw were a different pair in the 17.5cm cut.
