Wanted to make sure that all the Calgarians heard about this one. There is a group on facebook for it, that's pretty much all the solid info I have.

I'm definatly going Thursday morning (it starts a 9), but I'll probably be there a little bit earlier I over heard a sales associate say that some pants will be as cheap as $8, but those will probably be the different colored ones, etc.

I'm excited!!!

I wonder if I should drive to Brentwood and take the train there or drive. Argh, traffic is going to be insane at that time of the day
post #7 of 27

There's one in Ottawa too~

Are these all Facebook groups or did Lululemon also give out postcards? I've heard of fake Facebook groups for major warehouse sales that turned out to be hoaxes.

Also, the last one in Toronto wasn't very good. I heard the stock was really old and in really odd colours. The waiting time to get in was a few hours too.

i got my info from the facebook group- that would suck if it were a hoax.

i heard a sales associate in lululemon talk about the sale in Calgary to another woman, but I got the details from the face book group.

Courtz that's actually my plan of action, there is NO WAY I'm driving down town at 8-8:30am, it'll be a nightmare (and I don't want to pay day time prices for parking).

I really want a couple tops, and crops/pants. I hope there is some good stuff.

The last time they had a warehouse sale in Toronto there were postcards all over the store and the SA made sure I knew about it.
Hopefully it isn't a hoax...the location sounds about right, that's where all of the warehouse sales are anyways. I may show...but the lines sound long...lol. Plus it's getting so cold out. Not sure if I wanna sacrifice my time only to go in and find horrible prices or ugly coloured clothing.
Just make sure with actual Lulu SA's/mangers that it is indeed happening...

If you Google past warehouse sales, most people have had hit or miss experiences
post #16 of 27
It's on the Lulu site, so I'm sure it's not a hoax

Well worth standing outside for 2 hours (arrived at 8am)- I got lots of tops, bras, pants but I couldn't find gym bags and didn't have time to look

^ holy crap courtz!!!! i got there at 10 to 9 and was in the HUGE fucking line. I waited until 9:15 and then left. I wasn't even at the main building yet! I'm so sad. I wanted tops so badly !!!

Were you wearing joey supers? I saw three pairs...two muc with white stitching and one with multi colored stitching. I was so envious!

I was lucky - my fiance works on the Stampede grounds so him and his supervisor sneaked me in through the back door. Of course, the back door was connected to the men's changing area so I was turning beet red when I walked through... then the security guards were wondering how the heck I got through the back door but didn't ask further when I said my fiance works here. Good thing I didn't get kicked out.

Prices were not that great. I did buy a lot of stuff since I workout a lot and do teach Yoga on the side. It was not worth the line-up though, that I can tell you. I got there at 10:00am. At the same time people who were waiting since 7:30am had just been let in.

They loaded out the big gym bags right when I was about to pay, but they were still $69 so not that much cheaper. Also had some scuba hoodies for $89. Crazy!

By noon I heard the lineup was as far as Humpty's (so WAY past Erlton Stampede station).

holy crum! HOw much were tanks? I'm dieing to know. All I wanted was tanks and head bands and it just wasn't worth the time to wait.

On a side note....lululemon brought down some of their prices (at least at the Market Mall location in Calgary). Pants that were $98 around xmas dropped to $86 (or maybe 89? 80-something I can't remember), and some as low as $67, all regular price. There is TONS of print hoodies, I'm not really interested in them anymore.

Tops were like $29-39. I bought a couple of the whisper tanks and some strappy ones... all $39. Bras were $29. Pants range anywhere from $29-69. I didn't think I saw any headbands; I did see those sandals that was in store for like $46 before... not sure how much they are now, however. Shorts were like $19-29.

Those printed hoodies are not so much limited ever since the 5th print and on... I didn't see any of those at the sale. They had some solid color ones but yeah, those were $89. Then there were some of those really thin jacket ones for $69-79 (not worth it imo).

Those prices sound like store sale prices!

I was wearing joey big t's and a juicy couture angel winter coat w/fur hoodie

I paid $ 39 for my pants and workout tops and $29 for a sports bra. I needed gym clothes despirately but it was so much fun waiting because me and some people in the line were chatting and joking around.

boo. I'm actually thinking about *maybe* going again and seeing how the line is... but I most likely won't.

Ok so I just went tonight to the sale. I found that there wasn't a lot of sz 8 or 10 anything. Tons of 12, 2, and 4. Accessores were dropped to $9 in the last half hour (undies in a bag, scarfs, hats, and sandals).

I went at 8pm and walked right in with no line up. There isn't a lot of great stuff in my size, but damn! I wish I was a sz 4 there was tons of goodies.
