Yes^

Try on two sizes to get a feel for each. So if you are a 32 and you like the feel of the 33, go with the 32.

popularity is irrelevant, pick out the fit that you like best. zathan/zatiny is fairly slim, but there are some cuts that are much slimmer and some that are much, much looser. if you want to see more cuts and how they fit i suggest searching around this forum, checking out the denim guide on the diesel website, and checking out all of the cuts available on the diesel online store and seeing how they fit on the models there. in the store you can also sort by fits by filtering by slim, regular slim, etc...
