Yeah Mine are almost at the one month mark and they have soften up alot. You just gotta wear them alot!!!! Once they hit the 3 month mark I'm gonna start on my Flare Glenn drys.

Next buy is gonna be Slim Jim Dry Black. I hope with alot of wear they come out like the 85w wash.

It's borderline uncomfortable so I want them to soften up just a tad bit.

my favourite thing about dry denim is the fit,

for the first week so tight at the top that yu'll swear that your reproductive organs will be useless slabs of meat.

then a few days of the perfect fit only to be acheived fro about an hour after the infrequent wash

then sagged out through the arse and thigh with doubled over knees, and a dull greasy look that become harder to ignore the more you feel it.

once you have the bug though the saggy thigh/folded over knee suddenly looks like the way that jeans should fit

I cold soaked my RRDS when I got them to shrink up the length and they softened up quite a bit. i was a little disappointed at first since i wanted them to stay super stiff, but I got great whiskering and creases from it, so that kinda made up for it

one option i heard is you can put in powdered starch in the tub while they are soaking and they will be super stiff when they come out.

PICS!
man, I should have stuck were 34s because 36s are HUUUUUGE!

This is what I get for being impatient! 33s were too tight so my mind said fuck it and size up. I couldn't wait anymore so I bought 36x32 anyways. Hopefully I can shrink this somewhat a lot.
yeah with regular ralfs, you should stick to your zathan size or size down 1, depending on how tight you like it.

yeah, I should have but I didn't wanna wait I just have to wear a belt now which isn't a big deal. Hopefully they shrink somewhat.

It fits kind of weird right now since it's all bunching up by the knee!

and my lighting isn't ideal either...pardon me
post #222 of 1664
Well its suppose to bunch up at the knee because of the honeycombs.
if you want honeycombs and a nice hige you honestly have to wear your jeans tighter than that, otherwise it will be hard to create the creases.

you can still get nice fades on the upper thigh, but you wont have much definition [i.e lines] in your contrast.

honestly do whatever you want with your jeans, but if you want them to look like the nudies site, then they have to be tight.

some rules to make nudie site clone jeans

buy as tight as possible, your balls will ache bear in mind thatyou are going to wear them for a long time without washing so they will stetch alot.

do not soak your sanforised jeans, if you think wearing jeans with whiskers in the wash looks good then you will shit yourself on how great it will look with the 1" of difference when you wash them

I don't understand this part here.
sanforised jeans do shrink, but not eonough to warrant a soak

the honeycombs/hege are still gonna sit in a better place than if you buy pre aged jeans.

soaking will kill the dry look, and take off indigo, so i would only do it with STF jeans [i.e LVC, levis STF, or Japenese repro brands].
