Pics of Your Dry/Raw Denim Progress | Best Raw Denim - Page 64

asked same things via PM, and here's the reply
just to avoid ben the effort of saying same things again lol

"There were times when I was wearing them 7 days a week but there were as well times I hardly wore them at all. I think I warm soaked them after 4 months of regular wear. Probarbly after 60 wears. I guess I then put another 100-130 wears into them and washed them afterwards at 30 degrees with something like woolite dark/black. I cycled them at 1000 rpm (or even more) which caused two funny washed out lines (very decent). At first I was shocked but soon started to like them. Since then I only cycle them at 400 rpm though.

The shine stayed after the soak but disappeared after the wash. If you like the shine keep away from washing as long as possible and rather soak them.

As they stretched a lot, I washed them regularly every four months after the initial wash to keep the shape. (btw I sized down to a 28 this time, not sure if that was the right choice)

If you want to speed up the roping at the hem, you can soak just the hem from time to time. I might do that this time, not sure though. "

solid fade of the mij

Question for Ben, Aldo, or Tony, cuz your fits are what I strive for, do i stay in the same size for mii raws as mij or size down/up?

I stayed the same size. The MII are noticibly looser from the knee all the way down, as to be expected as it just is a different cut. The MIIs are a tad tighter in the upper thigh and hips area compared to MIJ. I could have most probarbly sized down one with even more initial pain and chances of a deformed fit due to too much stretching. Mine already show heavy knee bulgdes, which would have beem much worse in another size down.

On the other hand, I could probabrly size down on the MIJ raws as well referring to waist and thighs. Only thing would be, that I probarbly wouldnt be able to get my calves into a size 27.

Posted on SuFu lately. APC New Standard, 18 months, one soak, three washes. Outstanding!

same size or at least size down, depending on your body type

i am a w29/30 in diesels and my mij raws are a tad on the loose side, but still slim...but i like the fit

same here 29/30 in dior MIJ raw (depending on the fit I want) and proly 30 in MII (only pair I tried on was W31 tho, and seems like I could size down one, not sure if I could size down 2 as well)

Sorry, new here.

Have a few questions hope you guys'd be kind to help out!

What do you mean by roping at the hem?

So ben actually took almost a year to make them?

I tried searching but i can't find any guide to raw jeans, any idea where to find any?

Aldo, I don't see any progress. perhaps I'm not addicted enough to Dior, but I think you have to wear them a lot more to get remarkable creases

^

this is dior MIJ raw.

ben's      one age 3year       , on Page 63

euro22's one age 8monthes , on Page 63

Evil's only 3monthes.

not so easy to make great fade on Dior.

Nico: this is just the first stage of progress posted as a reference, raw MIJ Diors are really hard to fade and 3 months are surely not enough, but I assure you that some progress is going on
