I got a great deal on the Thin Finn in organic Dry Ecru at Gilt Club. I was pretty happy with them but spending a good penny I was hoping I would get a great Nudie worn out look. but the crotch...
These jeans are one of my favorites, they are sort of western! I wear them when my boyfriend takes me country dancing. I will admit, they are one of the hottest jeans for any rodeo, country...
I love these jeans! I had wanted them for awhile, and decided to finally get them. The price is not bad at all considering the cost of most other premium brands. I loved the "moto" look of these...
Diesel jogg jeans are not exactly what Diesel tries to sell them as. Diesel tries to sell them as sweat pants that look like denim. The fact is they are denim that are soft like sweatpants....
Diesel really out did themselves this time. The Braddom is a regular straight leg fit that tapers down to a slimmer opening. The fit is very comfortable and the tapering really makes them...
I have a pair of Nudie Flare Glenn (BCO Denim - ridiculously difficult to break in) that have over one year of wear (December 17, 2006). They have been used when installing suspension in a car, 6 oil changes, radiator replacement, turbo kit install, and have a ton of miles on them. I am pretty sure there is a lot of coolant, oil, gasoline, sweat, snow, rain, blood, and various food sauces on them (does calamansi accelerate the fading process?) I will be washing them in the next couple of months, any tips?
any pictures? It's likely that my jeans will go through the same, so I'd like to know what they'll look like :P
I'm pretty sure there is no recent 21cm version of UMC. Remember that as the waist size increases on 17cm, 19cm, the inseam length and leg opening increase moderately.
I thought that as well and know very well about the change in hem width according to waist size. But Yoox used to state their "width at hem" referring to the cuts standard measure, i.e 19cm or 21cm. Same goes for Diesel, btw. This is obviously the best way as they only give that measure once for all sizes in stock. It may have changed though.
If i remember right, there are two KvA UMC releases. The second one was definitely only 19cm and 17.5cm, but I am not sure about the first one.
Anyways, as you said thse might as well be oversized 19cm not 21cm.
Nothing will speed up the fading process except regular wear and time. That said wear them non-stop and don't even think about for at least 6 months. And when you finally do washing them do not throw them in the washing machine. What you want to do is soak them in cold water and then hang dry. Honestly the longer you wait the better.
yeah I agree, I'm working on my NC's right now, I might switch though I'm not sure, why should I not wash them though? lol I don't own a bike fam so that won't work, and how long does it take them to fade?
and yeah I've slept in them a few times, but its mad uncomfortable to sleep in jeans like this.
the indigo will begin to break down around the areas that experience the most wear (seat pockets, behind the knees, stacking around the ankles, etc.) so the longer you go without washing the more intense the fading will be.
well, it could be, but at least those would be in unpredictable and unexpected places
and they would be caused anyway by your body moving, so they would be personal
not as the usual "cell or wallet fading", which I'm personally not a great fan of
By unwanted creases, I meant that, for example, the honeycombs may become set higher or lower than the knee area, that sort of stuff. I will still sleep in my dry denim, but only after the starch has cracked well.
word, I slept in my APC NC, shit I can not sleep comfortable in them but my NS I can just nap away inna dem. lol Then I told my French teacher I was wearing french denim so she gave me extra credit
btw I walked 3 or 4 miles in my APC's today so I think thats a start right?
