I just bought my first pair. They are Sling and Stone. Not going to post pics cause I've only worn them once, but I'm excited to see how they turn out.

Little update:

2 pairs of Nudie slim jims.
Black: Over a year old, used rarely now.
9 months: hot wash
10 months: cold wash
11 months: cold wash

I want a more natural fade on these so I wash them more often.
Greycast: 5 months of daily wear (except 7-8 days)
3 months: Cold soak
4 months: Cold wash
5 months: Cold wash

Here are the only 2 I have taken pics of.

Skull which are starting to show signs of the pink color I am so anxiously awaiting.

PBJ's
Probably one of the most amazing denims regarding wear that I have come across for ladies. These are still pretty fresh but the signs all point to looking great after a few months. Mr V...I am trying your idea with the ring to see how it turns out.

^ +1

those pbj's are going to look amazing, and is that a chaw can impression in the back pocket?
Mel, those are starting to look amazing..
Thank you guys...The PBJ's are my favorite pair right now and the ones I am wearing the most...once I finally got them stretched out...(Tone you know what I am saying. I know you where having trouble with the tightness as well on your pair of PBJ's. Dang the thighs are tight!!!!)

Sigmatic yes it is what looks to be a chaw can impression, but is a metal bangle not a chaw can...
It is the first time I have tried it with any raws, and am looking for something else to try with other pairs. I am curious to see how it turns out.

MR V.....So you are checking me out then..I see a cross posted comment in there. But I signed on there today and saw no pm from you.....hmmmm...sneaky...
But yes a new belt would be nice, though I already own quiet a few good ones that I have had for years and have a load of wear on. A new one may be fun!!

BTW vagabond...where is a pic of your super slubby PBJ's.......I have not seen them since last I saw you and would love a pic of your wear on those. I am sure it is amazing!!!

lovin this thread
^I'm loving this thread as well.

Mel, the tightness of my PBJs are starting to give some as well. At least in the waist area, but I'm hoping the thighs will follow soon. Then I'll post pics. Maybe I should put up some of them now, since they only have 6-7 wears. I'm actually loving these so much that I'm wondering if I should get the 1070s as well.. Loving the fabric a lot. I'm awaiting my skulls and the S&S, but I'm thinking I need a pair that's not tapered, for the variation in use.
Tone...Yes the thighs will loosen it took mine a bit but now they are fitting very well everywhere. Thank goodness. I am sure these jeans where made for women who are shaped like a man...Hahaha...My hips where hating me for these.

Post the pics up of your 1069's...I would love to see...

I understand you totally on the variation factor. I too had to add a few raws that where not skinny because I felt boredom coming on with the same style all the time.
I have gotten a pair of bootcut full selvage raws that help with variance.....Beautiful denim and very very sturdy. I will send you the link via pm, and you can take a look at them!!!

PBJ 1069

8 wears
Pics taken with flash

Worn pics will be put up after they give some more in the thighs
post #1067 of 1664
wow that is a SLIM cut. I can only imagine how painful thats been to break in
post #1068 of 1664
Haha, yeah they're slim but like Mel said the thighs are the most hurtful part. When I first got them and put them on I had to lay down on the floor to button them lol, but now the waist has stretched out well. I'm waiting for the thighs to do the same

Nice turn outs! Mel, I am interested in seeing the pink coming out of those skulls.

S&S Rachels less than 25 wears - no washes

Cheap Mondays about 60+ wears 2 washes - jeans are low in quality but so comfortable

^ Anna, the S&S look absolutely amazing on you... the fit is perfect! Makes your legs look long and lean (as they are!)

I'm not a huge fan of Cheap Monday's but if they're your comfy pair, enjoy them
post #1072 of 1664
cheap monday makes some good stuff. Also it's super cheap, even the selvage models. There were some on sale ($55) at the denimbar but they all had stretch so I passed.
Anna, those s&s are looking great, and they fit you so well!! I've got some rachels on their way too, although in the natural indigo. I can't wait, they look amazing. Love the cheap mondays too, they look really cool.

agreed, but i think the cheap monday's make your legs look short and your thighs and hips look large. It may be the angle of the pic and the knock-kneed stance though...do you have another pic of them from the same angle as the S&S pic?

on the other hand, that is easily the best S&S fit pic i've ever seen and i'd encourage you to throw away all your other jeans

EDIT: i saw some other pics of you in WAYWT and it's definately the stance and angle. carry on...
Yeah the angle of that shot is pretty awkward! Now that I look at the pic it does look like I am stumpy hahaha.

Thanks for the compliments all The S&S have my heart now but I am slowly working on getting new pairs. I like to take my time with each individual pair.
