whats with the new TRs?!?!

i got 2 pairs from revolve Joey in Soft Rigid 27, and Bobby in Rinse 28..

1st of all, im usually a 28 in the old TRs... so i was told i should size up 1 for both pair (thank god i was too lazy to call revolve and stayed with these sizes) because they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HUGE!!!! i can probably size down 1 more for both!! and have them stretch out a bit with wear....

2nd of all........ i dont know why, are the pockets lower or something? because my bum look like its REALLY ugly =( LOL

IMO, the pockets are definitely lower...i tried some on and the pockets started halfway down my butt

oh no!! thats horrible news wangz i was about to buy the new billys in medium drifter..i hear those fit smaller but yeah, i'm really iffy on these new pockets any pics to prove your statement above? lol i want to see HOW low is low? i have no bum so it might look even worst for me but i havent had a chance to try these new pockets anywhere! please post pics!

my boyfriend has my camera right now =S i'll get it back tmr, and take pics, i've never seen my butt that ugly, especially on the joeys... i thought the flap pocket is suppose to make my bum look nice... WRONG

i heard bobby in rinse run 1 size small.. but i didnt size down, and they are still pretty lose!!!

Yes, as you can see in the pics I posted of the new Joeys I got, the pockets on the new pairs are MUCH lower- they go down to the upper thigh.

So the Joeys in Soft Rigid fit not one but two sizes big?!

well the soft rigid joeys for me fit at least 1.5 big... probably not enough for 2....... unless it stretch out with wear.

but pics will be coming tonight, it wont be pretty =(

So do you think that if I wear a size 30 in joey rigids I could fit in a 29 in soft rigid wash? I found a good price for a pair but they only have a 29. My husband is going to kill me...lol!

to tel you the truth... im not a TR expert, but i think i have a pair of medium vintage big Ts in 28, rigid... and those fit tighter than the 27 soft rigid joeys i have.. =S

unless i got a wack pair, you probably will be fine with the 29s =P

i bought the bobbys in rinse as well from revolve and they're pretty big on me...i'm currently ebaying them off haha!

IMO both of the washes that you purchased in the new style pockets run 1 size big. I'm not sure where you saw that they ran small cuz they definitely don't. Pocket placement is not the greatest cuz it ends up folding under your cheek. I hate the new pockets with flaps, but I can tolerate the non-flap styles. Like the Candice's I paid for over a week ago and still don't have. OT: If I paid $15 for shipping on Dec 1 why don't I have my frickin' jeans?

these are the new billy in med drifter that i have in rigid.
sorry for the bad quality but i took them with my mac webcam lol
I'm not sure if these would help but yea the pockets are pretty low.

Here's my new Joeys...I posted this somewhere else, but since everyone's talking about the pockets I'll post again...

I wasn't sure how much I liked them at first but they are definitely growing on me!!!

Well they look nice on you guys! Probably because you have bums. I have the same billys and they look crappy on me. It's like my tiny bum has even less definition because the pockets make it look like it goes on forever. I'm jealous.

wangz!!! i dont think the medium drifter looks bad actually!!! the pockets are low but they dont look THAT bad, i swear. not too sure about the second pair because of the buttons though but honestly the medium drifter are NOT like what you made them sound

aww thanks you guys *blushes*.. i think i'll just have to get used to the low pockets.......... i love the fit dont get me wrong, my roommate wasnt so nice either when she laughed at me!! lol.. oh well

i think im gonna try and shrink the bobbys.. i love the cut, if only i knew it ran so big i'd have sized down to a 27.. =(

Um, yea! I see nothing but cute butts!!! I agree that the sizing has changed. I went town 2 almost 3 sizes. I didn't like the round pockets on me, but I did like the heritage pocket. and yes, they are lower.
