leather cleaner and protector

i recently bought a white leather bag, and though im really careful with it, there are some marks that have showed up on my bag. i wanted to know if there was something i could clean it with, and where i would be able to find it.
also what can i do to prevent more marks from showing up?

I got a good leather protector from ecco (shoe store). It works well on my white leather stuff.
