so I am posting here, because I am stressed. Looking for a job, had an interview, 2nd is already scheduled, and I have an interview for a 2nd job, which will probably a sure thing. I'm just not sure which one I want more.

One is with AT&T, and they will most likely be moving downtown in 9 months and I don't want to work down there. But it is a good company, and once I am in probably lots of opportunity. The other is with a small boutique wealth management firm. Which I find very interesting, and would probably make a ton of contacts, (of which I have zero at the moment) and could learn from some of the best in the industry.

When I am stressed, I usually turn to comfort food, and I am not this time. So what do I replace it with?

I am grateful I have a few days to kind of weigh the two positions. I don't like making fast decisions. But in the meantime...also, other than Christmas shopping, it's not like I am going to Sephora for some retail therapy either....

Wow kenics, sounds like you have two fabulous opportunities ahead of you. I'd be ridiculously excited rather than stressed.

I don't really get stressed. In fact, I like to think that it doesn't exist. When I do want to relax I usually give myself a manicure or play with makeup. Or perhaps you can take your mind off of it by watching your favourite movie or reading a new book.

But in any case, consider yourself blessed not stressed! I am excited for you.

I am excited, but I work myself up because I don't want to make the wrong choice. I keep trying to get into my head, that life is full of wrong choices and that is why it is called Life. If it were perfect, it wouldn't be an yfun

As far as the book idea - I'm on it! I ended up going to B & N for 2 hours, reading a hardback. I didn't want to wait for it to come out in paperback, and it is sooooo good. I can't wait to go back and finish it!

I'm sure tons of people would give a limb to be where you're at now. I can't speak for you, but if I were in your situation, I'd look towards the choice as an adventure. It's totally understandable to be worried about a career move but in the long run if you can look back on your choice and know that you made the best you could at the time, then that's good enough for me. Besides, nothing is permanent, if your choice doesn't work out there's always time to go and apply for other jobs...it just means you learned something you can take with you next time you're faced with a similar problem. And hey, if your choice takes you where you wanna go, they Awesome!

Either way...good luck and indulge in some shopping therapy!
