Foundations that make you glow

I am searching for a foundation that gives you that glow from within look. Bare minerals did give me this look. However, it made my skin break out like crazy and I can not use it. Does anyone have any other ideas that give this look? They could be powder or liquid foundations.

Laura Mercier flawless face is amazing, especially when you pair it with a creme cheek color and highlighter.

Years ago, I used Clarins, I think it was called color veil. I got compliments on that literally every day. I couldn't find it, but their Color Tint might be similar.

I would really recommend hitting a Nordstroms or Sephora and playing with it. But I would only try one at a time to see how it settles on your face. It always looks good 5 minutes after you put it on, but you want to see how it looks an hour later and and how it feels. Sometimes you look great but cant stand the feeling on your face.

have you tried Bare Minerals or Bare Escentials?

I didn't do foundation up until a few weeks ago - I would the BM mineral veil to just top off my makeup... then I went to the NARS counter and they put a light dusting of their powder foundation on me. i had just gone for eye makeup and am normally pretty adamant that i do not want foundation ever near my skin (i think of old ladies with cake makeup when i think of foundation). anyways, they work their whole sales pitch by putting it on then gave me the mirror and i was in shock - it made my skin really pop and look more fresh and clean... and it looked just as good 5, 6, 7 hours later. it's very light coverage, which i love, and it lasts all day. The compact and pan can be a little pricey but the refills are a little bit cheaper. i would definitely suggest trying it out

or you can just stick to your regular foundation and buy highlighters/shimmers and mix it in with the foundation.

I thought of you the last time I was at NARS because of this very post.

I like MAC strobe cream. It mixes well with foundation to give you that "dewy" look.

i'm guessing the reason you broke out w/ bare minerals is it contains bismuth which causes a lot of people to break out. i would suggest Mineral Makeup - Foundation, Eye Shadow, Concealer, Lip Colors, and Blushes by Everyday Minerals, they have a special glow formula which really glows quite well. they also offer a free sample kit, all you have to do is pay for shipping.
