Fake LV Azur Speedy 30 From Member, Lots of Pics. I'm Very Sorry, What should I do?? - Page 4

OMG.. did that fake version tag actually have the word/s MONO GRAM where it should have had CUIR VERNI? They were so cheap and quick at producing the labels that they forgot to replace the spot on the template for the monogram with the real one? LMAO

Cheap and nasty. I'm sorry for your embarrassment. You seem like you really are sorry this has happened. I hope you're given another chance.

How does this work mods? If you are a member here and you sell a fake, are you given chances? What if you're in my situation, that is a relative newbie who could make a genuine mistake? How do you tell the scammers from innocent people who bought something that doesn't fit (and tries to resell not knowing it is also a scam?)

Please re-read this entire thread...ShoppingAmaze didn't sell anyone a fake.
^^ no I know she didn't, but I thought it said she 'tried' to sell it, and then it was pointed out it was a fake? She is clearly genuinely a victim here.. I can't believe $1000 lost! I hope she gets it back!

I just meant one concern I have had is that I have seen how quickly fake sellers can be banned here. That's for good reason too! But what if someone makes a mistake as I thought this thread pointed out. WOuld they be given another chance? How do you assess who deserves a chance as it was an accident or who is a fraud?

TNN (the original seller) has been banned. He/his sister/whoever it is that supposedly uses that account has a pattern of selling fake bags/wallets on here. Unfortunately, we didn't know about this until just recently.

Its normally pretty clear when someone makes a mistake and when someone is intentionally selling fakes.

I feel "safer" buying items on here because I feel that if something is fake, and I can't tell, others will point it out. It was kind of discouraging to read that some people had some red flags about this item and said nothing. If there is any question on the authenticity of something, I think that people should feel ok with politely pointing out their concerns. I would hope that no one would be offended at that. After all, this is "honest" forum.
Also, I think that the original post should be some sort of sticky (or whatever) with pointing out the differences between the two bags. I bet it took a lot of time to put that together, and I think it would be good information to keep handy.

ohhh.... and i hope you get your refund! thank you for taking the time to show the differences between the bags!

He promised to send refund by Sunday night, Dec. 2nd, but didn't do that.

Today, Dec, 3rd, he emailed and said refund would be sent tonight.

A week ago, I gave him the final due date Dec. 4th, Tuesday. I'll submit his file to police on Wed. if I don't see the refund by Dec. 4th.

Credit card company already gave me the temporary credit back, but has to wait for his response to finalize. That takes a month. If he doesn't respond, they'll just take money away from his account that links to paypal. If no response from him for another 3 months, the case will be closed. That means I'll be refunded with no more questions. But they'll require me to provide return info. So far, that's what I have been told.

He better be scrambling to get that money together. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

GOT THE REFUND!!!!!!

Again, after I emailed and told him I would report to police and hire a legal server to file a claim to civil court, he finally issued the refund. I said all the fees would be paid by the losing party. I also said "as long as the seller can be found and sued, and has income resource, the seller has to refund and pay all court fees and fines. ricefairy and I will fight through the end."

Now he asked me to ship back the bag in the same condition. But I did use the bag for a little bit. So I agreed to pay for both ways shipping. The refund doesn't include the shipping costs.

WHAT IF he claims item returned "BUT NOT IN ORIGINAL CONDITION"? but it's hard for him to argue because the bag was used when I bought it. It's hard to say it's more used now than it was before. Just in case, WHAT IF he requires CC chargeback for this reason too? I really need to be careful with this person.....

by the way, another possibility is "he claims that I have sold him a fake bag". But I don't think he can win that because I have all the messages and records, which show exactly what had happened. I don't think he can get money back by making up that kind of a lie.

what a dipshit. There should be no parameters on the return - he sold you a fake! Did you get your refund through paypal or western union?

Just pull all the money from your paypal account NOW.
Im very pleased that he did send you the refund
post #93 of 114
Wow, what an ass!!! I'm sorry this happened to you. But I'm so happy you finally got your refund.

Remind me to only buy pre-owned LV from MyPoupette sellers. I'm really worried that this happened on HF because the system with denim is so good. Is there a way to have an LV expert check the designer bag listings? I don't know much about LV (I only have a few pieces) but the date code and ring on the inside looked pretty awful even to my eyes.

ETA: I don't mean to imply that the mods don't do a fantastic job-- they do. There are just so many fake LVs out there and some of them are so difficult to discern.

I gave up shipping costs and hoped it's easier to ask for refund. And I did use the bag.... Sigh...

Anyway, I'm happy with $500 even though I paid $525 plus $11 return shipping.

The refund is through paypal, with the email subject " refund of fake LV Azur". I think it's hard for him to claim "buying a fake from me". The only risk is "NOT IN ORIGINAL CONDITION". I don't know what he'll do next...kind of worry.. because he's such an ASS!!!!

I withdrew all the money from paypal already. I'll see what he says after the delivery.

I hope ricefairy can get her money back too.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT!! HIGHLY APPRECIATE IT!

Tell him to go to hell if he tries anything sneaky like that!! I am so happy to hear that you got most of your money back
post #96 of 114
that's bs he should have refunded the full amt, he's the one that sold the fake
post #97 of 114
I agree he shouldn't even have asked for the bag back either, he is probably just going to resell it to some other poor person!!
you should have written FAKE inside the bag! hahaha

Re: Seller

Oh my gosh, I remember this seller, he was pressuring me on buy a red fendi handbag a few months back. But I told him that I needed a bigger bag and the bag was too small. ShoppingAmaze I feel your pain girl it sucks to find out something you brought wasn't authentic. So hopefully you get your refunds without any problems...

It's a good thing you didn't go through with the purchase. The bag was missing the hologram and it supposedly fell off, which doesn't really happen. When I pressed for more photos he declined and said it wasn't for sale anymore and the thread was already locked. I hope he didn't try to pressure you into buying the bag after that debacle. Although, to be honest, given his history I wouldn't be surprised if he did something shady like that.
