Lol, sorry about the title...

Anyways, if I adjust my diet to something more healthy, how long does it usually take for the body to adjust....as in to start eating of the fat? So I am just wondering...How long does it take for the body to start eating off the extra fat if I change the way I eat...

I just need to drop like 10 lb or so..lol...Other then that pretty healthy and eat pretty well...

Haha...Sorry....

I am just trying to figure out how long until I can see weight loss results if all I do is change what I eat...Like no diet pills, gym, or anything...Just changing what I eat.

straight away.10lbs is nothing...very achievable

2.25pounds(1 kilo) is a safe amount to lose in a week

i have had morbidly obese people lose up to 10-15 pounds in a week when they change their eating patterns and incorporate a fitness program

but you have to remember they were eating up to 6000-8000 calories a day...and dropped down to 1300-1700 calories

To the OP, I think you meant catabolism instead of cannibalism. What is your height and weight, btw?

Although I try to refrain from agreeing with peter I will in this instance. Aside from your genetics, diet will have the most affect on your physical makeup followed by exercise. As peter pointed out the heavier you are the more weight you will lose initially. Don't forget to add some form of resistance training.

Good luck!
