Pink Chroma Stevie Help Please - Page 3

The outside of my jeans look spot on to me, but the whole entire inside looks messed up and just like fakes I have owned. The inner pocket material is wrong it isn't nice like all my other R&Rs and doesn't sit down right like it should, neither do my inside hems, they don't want to sit nice and flat. The length of my outside stitching seems wrong too, its not tight enough, I need a good camera to take some pics!! I'm going to try my best to do that tomorrow!!

Pair #2 is Guests... I dunno girl, why are the inner pockets all funky?

Is your pair supposed to be brand new or used?
Maybe they just weren't taken care of and were drycleaned or washed too much? Iunnoz... If they feel and fit the same. *shrugs*

Ok - you might just have to send them to someone for some peace of mind. Do you have a gut feeling?

I was CERTAIN the ones I received were fake, I was just looking for some reassurance.

If you're really lost, maybe you should send them to someone. $5 for some peace of mind ain't bad.

If I look at just the outside of the jeans I am sure they are real, as soon as I look on the inside I know they are fake I'll take more pics so that other people can see too....we could use this as a future guide or something....

That is EXACTLY what I mean about the pockets, Gizmo! They are EXACTLY like some fakes that I have and all my rear R&R pockets are so nice....

Mine are 31. I'm waiting on the seller, she is supposed to send me the address to return them since I didn't save the outside package. But I'll take TONS of pics tonight, I'm borrowing the camera from work....

ok here are the tags for 4 of mine, none have the perforated edge

Here are pics of an authentic pair of blue stevies I sold a while ago:

Like Guest mentioned ealier, the tag is perforrated too and again the pockets are different compare to Guest's pair.

Once you get a macro pic of the tag, I'm sure we can compare more!

man, i think i'm the only one w/ non perforated tags...i KNOW all mine are real, i bet my whole jean collection on it, i guess i just have to be different

Ok, I think I have found one difference on the your pair Guest. If you look at the real ones, all the flap back pockets have distressing when yours doesn't at all:

[quote=gizmokat;1422233]
The only difference is the placement of the chromas logo...

Here is your guest:

I am now really convinced that yours are fakes!

I think the distressing on my hems is not normal as well, can anyone verify that??
I'm thinking the wash is too extreme on yours guest... and the overall stitching looks a little different too. The material is streaky - the lines going down are very distinct. I noticed the same thing on my fakes.

The real ones have a more uniform material.

Okay here are a WHOLE Bunch of pics that I pointed out what is wrong. I put some side by side comparisons to my real jeans. I'm going to have to do this in multiple posts.

So after seeing these does everyone

agree they are fake????

ok now that you have a close up pic of the tag i can see the font is off, so i say fake now
post #70 of 77
I'm stumped.
Were chromas an earlier release so could it have been part of an earlier batch before the "better stitching?"
I've seen the dotted red line tag before... can't remember where.

It wouldn't let me attach anymore so I had to upload them into imageshack....

I thought the dotted line like that on those tags meant fake?
well normally fakes have a black line. and the nipple rivets don't necessarily mean fake b/c old ones had that
post #74 of 77
The front wash is really NG in my eyes, distressing is totally off. R&R I don't think ever does horizontal whiskering at the hips area it usually follows the lines of when you "sit" or isn't so pronounced (maybe it's your pics?), so therefore are normally curved up slightly. I vote Fake. I can't believe they got the back pockets almost right. Chromas are easiest to spot by the front wash since its so unique IMO, cus the logo is hard to tell if it's fake.

They're not as straight or pronounced...
