Pink Chroma Stevie Help Please

I got mine, but I'm still not 100% sure they are real? They fit like the rest of my R&Rs and feel like it, but the inside stitching looks sloppy. The inseam is 35" which is good and the hems look real as well. I'm going to post pics tomorrow, but if you own these and are certain yours are real, would you PLEASE PLEASE post some pics of the inside seam stitching so I can compare to mine? The pink stitching on the side seams and just looking at the inside stitching from the waist. TIA!

O I HOPE THEIR REAL. Im sure they are, you've got enough experience to differentiate them form fakes.

This was my original thread. ^^And I know, right? I should be able to tell if they are real or fake, I've owned enough R&R myself....Maybe I am just hoping too much....they look so damn good from the outside, but when I look on the inside of the jeans they look like fake crap Tags look fine, but stitching looks sloppy and not "tight" enough. I'll post pics tomorrow, but I'd like comparison pics (inside stitching pics) of someone else's real chromas to be 100% sure because I'll have to have a paypal dispute for it

In the older R&R styles .i.e Chromas, the inside seam stitching is not as tight as the newer styles. The stitching should be further apart but not sloppy.

^^AHHH that is what I was hoping, that the older styles wouldn't be quite as neat, meaning mine still might be real. Here are the pics...

They do have the nipple rivets and the rivets themselves are actually a very slightly larger diameter than my other R&R rivets. The fit itself seems right on and so is the rest of the outside. Tags feel and look good as far as I can tell. The bag tag as pictured is a little sloppy but I'm not overly concerned with that.

If you have Chromas, can you please post pics of your insides like mine? The stitching on mine is blue and pink.

I agree, from the pics. the jeans look real. Try wearing them around the house for a couple of hours and if the jeans are stretching out like crazy then you know for sure they're fake.

not necessarily true, my stevies stretch out a lot they're always loose in the but after an all day wearing

Alot of my other R&Rs stretch quite a bit while I'm wearing them too? They do have some stretch to them in general though....which some of my other R&Rs also do as well....

I think either the rivets or the stitching is going to be the issue if there is one....

Yes, R&R jeans do have stretch, but the fabric in the fake ones is unusally stretchy, the jeans will stretch out like 2 sizes. I unknowingly purchase a fake pair a long time ago, after a few hours of wear the jeans just fell off my hips and ended up around my ankles!

I know what you mean about unusually stretchy, but you can usually tell that when you first put them on. They don't seem overly stretchy, I've had a few fakes like that and this isn't the same. So I'm still on the fence I guess.

My fakes had funky interior threading. The dead giveaway was the stretchiness and the rivets. They just looked weird.

My real ones were stiffer (like addict wash - they give, but they're not stretchy).

The inseam is a good sign though.

I'll post pics of mine when I get home. I'm expecting another pair in the mail too, so maybe I'll have two pairs to compare!

I gave my fakes to my babysitter... maybe I can borrow them back for some comparison pics. Or there's a link - I'll find it.

Arrrg! I just saw your thread, went to find my pink stevies to take pics for you... but mine are the Garbi pair, so they don't have inner tags.
The stitching is completely different. It's dark blue, not pink but it is kinda sloppy like yours. I know for sure that mine are authentic.
What I don't feel good about your pair is how the the flames look on the pockets. I don't know. Sorry I can not be more helpful!

MmHm....Can you post pics of mainly the inside stitching please? I did read through your thread SEVERAL times but when I compare pics, your pocket fading on the fakes don't look the same as mine...so leans me toward real on mine, but still not 100% sure

I can't see the last three pics you posted, but the inner tag doesn't even match... Are the pair you posted the fake or real pair? (I'm assuming real, which means mine are fake)

Do the stevies with crystals have the same looking inner tags as the stevies without crystals? My tags look more like the jaggers or roths without crystals as the placement of the word "stevie" is right under the size #, where yours says stevie in the bottom left corner.

I don't think the tags have to match up completely. I don't know why the last three aren't showing up for you. It's just pics of the pockets and the front to see the overall wash and rivets (flat).

This pair is real. It does have a little black size tag, which is a little odd (some old have it, some don't).

The thing that most freaked me with the fakes I had was how stretchy and squishy soft they were. The fit sucked - they didn't hold me in in the right places. The wash was a little too extreme too. There is a lot of variation in the wash, but it should be faded blue, not whitish - if that makes sense.

Hmmm...mine definately have nipple rivets. Mine also have that little black size tag. Is the color of the pink stitching on the inside of yours a more fushia or bright pink where the logo on the pocket is a baby pink?
