I got a great deal on the Thin Finn in organic Dry Ecru at Gilt Club. I was pretty happy with them but spending a good penny I was hoping I would get a great Nudie worn out look. but the crotch...
These jeans are one of my favorites, they are sort of western! I wear them when my boyfriend takes me country dancing. I will admit, they are one of the hottest jeans for any rodeo, country...
I love these jeans! I had wanted them for awhile, and decided to finally get them. The price is not bad at all considering the cost of most other premium brands. I loved the "moto" look of these...
Diesel jogg jeans are not exactly what Diesel tries to sell them as. Diesel tries to sell them as sweat pants that look like denim. The fact is they are denim that are soft like sweatpants....
Diesel really out did themselves this time. The Braddom is a regular straight leg fit that tapers down to a slimmer opening. The fit is very comfortable and the tapering really makes them...
Great work! Thanks to all the mods and programmers who have help create such an awesome project!
I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but there are two ways to view the mall. Maayan you were concerned seeing the full title... if you click on the "List" next to "Gallery" above the listings, you can view (and sort) the full title, price, and when it was listed.
Pictures are awesome, but three issues of concern:
1. The shortened title field lacks descriptive information. I can't see the size (and other vital information) in the listing, just a picture of one of the jeans, which makes shopping a little more tedious (I don't have all the information right in front of me -- I have to click through each separate listing). Is it possible to give more room to the titles (maybe something like the eBay set-up -- a slightly smaller picture to one side, and the text to the other)?
Otherwise, great job!
I found a way to change that - on the right hand side of the page you can change the view to "List" instead of "Gallery". Then the entire title shows up, as well as a smaller version of the first pic.
Nice! Thanks for answering all my questions Lauriebell
-I also noticed when I click "list" on the All Items page it jumps to listing Mens 34+... ODD! ;P
Fixed..

Some tools will be available for mods for their duties (When viewing an individual item), but otherwise this isn't really supposed to behave like the traditional forum. I would imagine that in the future similar tools will come online if needed.
Mods can delete items while viewing them. This is not an option for non staff. If your items sells, you can mark the item sold via a checkbox when editing the item. This will move the item out of the mall.
Under thread tools, there's the option to subscribe to the thread. Is there going to be a way to add that? (I like to subscribe to threads if someone is selling something I am interested in)
I love the way the mall looks. I have one issue with it; You can only upload one picture at a time, and it take a while for the picture to upload. I tried to upload multiple pictures at a time, but only the first picture gets uploaded.

Not sure if this feature will be added again. I think the reasoning for removing it in the mall is that there will be no replies to items, so subscribing to a thread gets you nothing as far as notifications.

Every time you select a pic, it automatically uploads. As soon as you select a picture, the upload commences.
if you would like you could easily post to the new mall.
just be sure to post a link on the old mall listing that says something like "i have moved my item for sale to here"
Boo, what a pain. The new mall is a lot more pleasing to the eyes and organized (with the listing drop-down), but the old was so much more simpler and easier to look around IMO. Nonetheless, good job!
But i still think comments should be allowed, as sometimes potential buyers ask sizing/stretching questions for example, and the buyer doesn't always have the answers. So this is where other members chip in.
Otherwise there will be alot of unnecessary threads in the main forum asking the same questions.

yeah, this works, but there's no reason the title can't be expanded in the gallery view, right? i mean, since we don't have a 'size' field for organization.
I know this was mentioned earlier, but... I think the only think that I noticed that I don't like about the mall is that I used to sign up for subscriptions to items I was interested in, like "watch"ing in ebay. Is there going to be an option like this?? I think once the mall starts filling up, especially with only partial titles showing, it will make navigating and shopping much easier.
Solution to this might be the List view being set as default instead of the gallery view.
I totally agree. Gallery view isn't very navigate-able. And if you're in list view in one section, and you switch to another section, it switches back to gallery view. That's kinda annoying.
The titles being cut off is currently (and has been) on the to-do clean up list for the programmers. Don't worry - what you see now is not the completed work.
hey not sure if its just in firefox, but when you go to edit your post, all the fields and content show up pushed way to the right beside the main background of the page....
I don't know if anyone posted this yet, but I find it a little annoying to have to click on a pair of jeans for sale just to see its size. For example, I might be interested in these jeans but it'd be a waste of time to have to click each one to see its size. (Example bloew)
