aww thanks for caring. I'm not trying to sound whiney but I don't own any R&R yet even though I REALLY want to... but i'm a college student on financial aid and my dad definitely isn't well off so I've been searching really hard for cheap R&R (Plus i'm a thrifty person anyways ). So this sale sounded like the perfect answer!
..... until i was turned away
haha i'll get over it but today i'm really bummed about it.

I got there at 9:45 and didn't get in until 1 something. I originally planned on buying some to resell but after standing in line for 3 hours cold, bored and hungry, DAMN I DESERVE SOME JEANS!! I got 5 pairs for myself and 2 to resell. Actually 3 to resell since I have 2 of the same pair >.<

Hey I got turned away too! I went at 10:00 and the line was the longest line I've ever seen in my life, at least 5 hours to get in if you were last. Anyway, I called my nephew who is best friends with Mike Ball. He gave me the secret code to get in, put my name on the list and the Sony parking lot attendant would not even let me on the lot at 3:20 p.m.! I couldn't even use my secret code! I said "I have the secret code" She looked at me like I was a COMPLETE RETARD and said "Sure you do." BIATCH! The secret code is my daughther's name for Christ sake! Anyway, I called my nephew ALL PISSED and he said not to worry and just to look online and tell me what I want and he'll get it from the warehouse. Anyway, last year we were having Thanksgiving dinner with my nephew, & Mike Ball & his girlfriend Asha actually joined us for dinner. LONG OLD STORY that is familiar to some of the old time HFers. Last year I didn't want to seem like a complete asshole by asking for free jeans from Mike, but this year, if he comes to dinner again, I WILL HAVE NO SHAME. That line was way too long for me to have any pride about asking for FREE jeans from Mike...he's worth well over $100 million, a few free jeans for his buddy's aunt won't kill him, right?

Ok! I just got back! Just for your info, the sale was really good this time and really huge too! There were I think at least 5 times more people than the last SS.
The warehouse was also 3/4 times bigger, loaded with half jeans and half couture stuffs like suits/pants/shirts/dresses...shoes and bags. The shoes were pretty good but they didn't have my size! The bags were mostly with the skull (not my taste).
This time, there were more "regular" jeans that were released than samples! That might explain why there is nothing in the mall for the moment! Everything was stamped irr at checkout as usual! There were so many guys at this sample, they bought everything! The guys tables were emtied in a very short time. I didn't think the selection was good for guys this time compare to the previous one. Theree was a limit of 20 pairs max! I mostly bought for myself and my hubby, not much for re-sell... I just looked at the stuffs I bought and 5/6 pairs have flaws! I was so excited, I didn't check carrefully, I feel so dumb now!

Just a note to the few folks who couldn't get in: I feel really sad for you guys, this doesn't seem fair at all.
Hope some of you will be able to go back tomorrow!

Yay I get to go back tomorrow because I have a sponsor!! My brother!! =P Here's a tip for whoever is going tomorrow: WEAR A SKIRT OR DRESS!! I wasted most of my time in the fitting room whereas everyone else was trying on jeans outside >.<

so here's my report: whew! today was SO SO SO much better than last time. last time, i waited five hours and got a crappy sunburn which then proceeded to turn into a farmers tan. haha. but today, i was in line by 8ish and when it was 10am, they let us right in. me, my bf and my friend didnt emerge from the studio until 1ish and the line was SO freaking long still. it was nuts.

here's my loot! im so happy with everything i got.

beaded twisted silver berlins (they're so pretty and beaded like the whiskey copper kasandras), borderline jaggers, obsession pink jaggers, tyrant pink sigs
alpha gold kiedis (i searched high and low for these at the last sale and FINALLY found them! yay!), the new crowns in sanctified blue, smokin peacock costellos (sample), and this really cute sweater that i got for cheap!



they had alot of sigs in all kinds of washes--raw, whiskey copper (but not beaded), studded turmoil, borderline blue, etc. most of the stuff was really recent stuff too unlike the last sale which was a mixture of old and new. plus the place was so much bigger so there were bags, shoes, tailor made stuff, cashmere, $15 tees, polos, etc. the prices also changed a bit.. the non-embellished irr went up by $10 and the embellished stuff went $20 down in price.

Just got back: going to clinicals after the sale is not a good idea.

I didn't get alot because I was on a time limit and didn't a lot of stuff I wanted... Lot of those wide-load Rs that most of us hate, yuck. Well, the ones with the crystals were slighty tempting, but then I saw sample dark pink/lavender(?) crowns on a dark midnight blue wash and fell in love. Also took my friend with me and she found me halites at the last minute! <3333 I found a lot of stuff at the last minute, but only took one (red phoenix!) since I didn't have enough money...

Will post pics in an hour or so because I have to go pick up my stupid brother from band practice... so tired!

HOLY! You found the blue crowns! I couldn't find one in my size and I was so sad

heartfelt, i loooove every pair you found, i really like the tyrant pink sigs and adore the colors on the peacock costellos, so cute!

aquapoppie, those crowns you described sound lovely, cant wait to see pics!

Here's my haul... I'm sure you guys know most of them, except for the pink crowns (official name: Whiskey Blue Bright Pink in Kasandra/Kiedis) and the red phoenix (in Florida wash, Jagger cut). The phoenix wasn't even my size, but I just grabbed it because I know somebody had to like it. How can you resist? Haha

Didn't find any other samples that I found appealing, but then again, competition was fierce. Everyone's a freaking size 27! ARGH




Man that was exhausting...

I think everybody is probably waiting for the first person to get the ball rolling. Like maybe seeing how much extra to charge for finders fee?? Thats just what I think. I'm debating whether to buy more jeans for myself or to resell
